It's the players head, body or feet that is counted. Whether the individual parts touch the ball doesn't matter. It was offside, and I'd be furious if I were a City fan. But after all of the shit decisions given against us this season, including some ridiculous penalty decisions, I think it's about time some of the luck came our way. Helenius must have been offside when Vertonghen ripped his skidders down, judging by some of the pics anyway. Not a small lad in more ways than one!

Football is a results driven business and until they start rewarding "exciting, attacking football", points gained are what it's all about. And we are making progress IMO, ok, perhaps it's too early to be 100% sure, but the signs are there. Maybe we should wait until 19 games before deciding one way or the other.

Benteke's absence means other teams will have to have a rethink when it comes to coping with our forward line. This lad is a whole different kettle of metal for them to deal with and they know hardly anything about him.

tbf the move for our first goal was nice. Started with Clark picking a pass out of defence and we worked it all the way up the pitch with good passing. Big Ron motm for me but Bacuna, Luna and Andi played really good also. Guzan for once looked dodgy yeh the move on the first goal was nice, but it was also offside Let's not dwell on such trivial facts..................

He consistently does the same things that Luna has been criticised for, ie comes in too close to the CBs, yet he's had a season to put this right and, well, hasn't Really hope it isn't a case of new contract or 2nd season syndrome, but he just doesn't look the same player at the mo. I'd start Bacuna against Citeh.

Looked a far more disciplined player against spuds, with some nice touches and a cracking shot in the 2nd half. Some good signs I thought.
