    Rich is intriguing to me as I live near one of his other properties, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. The Naturals are in town for a few games starting tomorrow, no I will not be going in my Villa kit to try and drum up support. But, I would expect if he acquires us that wearing said kit will get me half off beer prices.

    I've still not seen anything that makes me think we aren't a Top 10 team, and single digits wouldn't be stunning. The Newcastle game is going to go a long way towards what I think, even with it being Round 4.

    On the point of the neutrals, the discussion on the football channel on satellite radio in the US has had more Villa Talk (lol) than the past 2 years combined this week. Granted, the Top 4 Other than Chelsea supporters wanted the Blues to lose, but I heard comments like "Benteke is the signing of the season," "Villa being good again would be great for the League," and "The narrative needs to switch from how Arsenal were unlucky and Chelsea were lucky to "Villa is good again"" (though that last comment was mine to be fair)

    MLS signing him would literally undo a decade of good work by our league. Occasionally I get bored and read The Sun and their articles on graft and people who collect benefits though able to work. They should do a damn week-long special on Ireland for last year and this.

    He's in one of those zones of mind and play where you just watch him and realize "This, this is what a player looks like."

    It's going to be interesting to see how Chelsea's D (which is a bit old for its core bits and loves to get folks forward from the backs) deals with the speed of our youth on counter. It's really our best chance; we aren't talented or seasoned enough to break down that midfield, which is pure class and has had a year to gel. It's the heart of their own youth movement. That, and them looking ahead to United are our best hopes for a point.
