  1. He showed his true colours tonight again, poor poor player, gets too close and tries to hold on to the player. he is better suited to strictly come dancing. Slow to react as well.
  2. would play Ayew and Gil up front together.
  3. Gabby as player manager, apparently good with kids
  4. I is for Tim. J is for journalism Q is for Quantity U is for underachieving V is for instruction as to where Brad kicks the ball X is for our performance rating Y is for the questions the fans ask at full time.
  5. Why? Being honest, Too predictably same old same old, I want somebody who can do something different, be proactive, make good changes, forward thinking and above all else be somebody the players will respect and look up too.
  6. Please god no, can not stomach any more Scottish managers.
  7. so maybe then he has isolated the players. perhaps then if this is the case the club will sack him this week.
  8. You could get thee pics of them all and they would all be sat on the bench hands on knees looking glum and devoid of ideas. It is really strange. TS is doing this now to an extent just accepting his fate. I for one thought he was a fighter, even if he is not the best manager tactician I thought he would be up and down giving it his all. I mean the crowd have not turned on him yet but he still seems to be hiding. May be there is nothing in it but it is strange, just look at all the back room staff we gave had problems with including RK. We are running out of scapegoats and need to get to the root of the problem, the team do not seem to be as one even when celebrating a goal. Something is wrong somewhere.
  9. It seems strange. AM, PL and now TS. Ignore the management skills for a minute but they all start well and then just seem to fade away and look as though the weight of the world in on them, They can not all be this poor surely, Is there something behind the scenes that is happening they can not control and leaves them ending up looking like they do.
  10. The whole situation is puzzling. TS last year was up and shouting at the players giving plenty of emotion and energy. He seems to be accepting his fate now and going through the motions. I would love to know what is happening behind the scenes. Are the players and staff with him, is this the real issue at the club. He just does not seem the type of man who would sit down and accept defeat. His positive approach and energy is what saved us last season and he seems to have lost this now.
  11. After the transfer sagas I now feel we will be eighth to twelfth depending on injuries.
  12. If that was about four rows from the front of the upper I saw that happen too. It ended peacefully enough but it did get a little feisty at one point. It reminded me of some of the fans having a go (rightfully in my opinion) at other fans for jeering Richardson against qpr. yes it was block 4 row 3.
  13. It is strange how people who did not go feel we were lucky but those there felt it was just a matter of time till we won. Then again I was in the top holte and two blokes nearly came to blows because the one thought the other was being negative all through the match. I have been going down the Villa for 44 years and can honestly say it was the strangest feeling I have ever had watching a game. Even though we kept going behind you just knew we could break through their defence with ease and score again.
  14. He needs a run in the team, deserves a shot at it
  15. Watching the game it was strange, even when we kept going behind you just knew we were not going to loose, just did not get that feeling, thoroughly entertaining, Tim put out a team to score goals maybe because of the lack of them this year and the need for a few layers to start scoring. I have never seen so many chances in a match so he got it right, the fact we missed so many is not down to him, we could of had 12 - 13 on another day.
  16. Played well in patches but you could tell he was not fullly fit, him and Jack are gonna be amazing.
  17. Sanchez was my man of the match, felt for Grealish really wanted to score but just would not go in. Kozak played well made alot of intelligent runs but we never played him in. altogether a weird match where our fitness saved us, should of had 7 or 8 in injury time with the chances. Still fair play to County who played some great stuff and added to the entertainment. Some great stand out performances but some loose play again could have been our downfall.
  18. first touch is disgraceful. need to replace him as he is the week link
  19. To be fair to the bloke his hands were pretty much tied last year with the squad we had, confidence shot, no system, This year is when we will see if he has it tactically now he has different players and he has had the time to work with them. still think it will take a couple of months for it to gel as some of the players have only just arrived. I like the bloke and think he will do well, the thing that sticks out for me is he hurt as much as we did after the final, he was embarrassed and angry. I honestly do not think he will allow another performance like that again.
  20. Agreed goal scorers do not grow on trees, there are not many teams in the prem with one of these. hopefully though other players will contribute towards the goals. we had a midfield of Delph, Cleverley, Bacuna, Westwood last year who did not really contribute on the goal front. Hopefully the new guys will score more than these did.
  21. Are you serious? why do you think we look set not to score as many, I can understand the conceding part but if anything the squad smacks of being set up to attack and outscore the opposition. With CB we were 1 dimensional, now we look as though we have alot of players with the ability to score.
  22. TS is a winner, he has a lot to prove after what happened at spurs. He will want to show them how he can build a team and challenge at the top. His biggest attribute is the ability to read players and spot talent. He certainly read our squad well when he said they had a losing mentality. He was hurt badly after the last few games last year and the final was the last straw. I still think we have another 5 players he wants to get shot of in this window. exciting times ahead. As for him leaving at the end of the year, I do not think he will unless he wins something and feels its job done or if the club stop backing him.
  23. In my opinion there is a plan in place and we will see the results pretty soon, It has been known we would loose Teckers, Bent and Delph since the beginning of the year and it made sense to get rid of Vlar with his injuries. This is probably what encouraged TS to take the managers job at the time he did. The club would have made plans for if a take over never happened or f it did happen as a matter of course. I think Delph was pushed out as his wages and transfer money is in the planned budget hence he was not on the tour. Since the end of the season we have heard rumours of TS telling alot of players to find new clubs and it is no surprise that the high earners are the ones leaving. I am quite excited by what will happen. We have all seen our poor technically and mentally our squad was and how it needed to be changed. Lets all calm down and give him a chance,
