That'd be nice but I'm not exactly hopeful of it happening. On the JulieB note, I can't believe the amount of turd she posts on twitter. Not to mention being able to find her blogger profile from there which includes a picture, phone number and business email.....

Yeah I'll probably get tickets in a few weeks. Will have to see who fancies heading out to Tallaght with me, although there'll be no shortage of other Villains around.

Think you will find I brought his name up. Sorry I must have missed it, large thread I mentioned it last week as well, he'd be a cracking signing but probably not even on the radar. He's only finishing his first year in Germany.

I said it about a week ago. Hiroshi Kiyotake. If we were in for a Japanese midfielder it's probably this guy. 23 years old, good at going forward, plays in the Bundesliga, has a decent assist/goal per game ratio and could be picked up for a few million. Always wanted a technical Japanese midfielder at Villa. They're free kick wizards usually.

Don't know if anyone has posted this yet, http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2013/may/22/paul-lambert-motherwell-dortmund Great interview. Shows that Lambert is the right man to bring unknown players with potential into the team. He himself felt out of his depth and was relatively unknown but obviously showed something if Dortmund were willing to take him on trial. I think his own experiences puts him a good position to get the best out of players that haven't quite made it.

I wonder how many people will get that BOF. Great signing, if he cost the reported 900k then it was worth it for that goal alone.

If I was the club I'd table a better contract for him, nothing astronomical, more like the Weimann type increase. If he doesn't want it then he's free to leave, provided a club comes in and offers what the Villa valuation of the player is. If that doesn't happen then he's here for another year, has a better contract that reflects the fact that potential suiters weren't willing to put their money where their mouths were.

Just spotted hiroshi kiyotake whilst looking at Bundesliga stats. Supposed to be a tidy player, I'd love one of those typical Japanese midfielders. Likes a shot from distance, set piece master.
