  1. One of the few weapons we have. If we could get a proper striker and keep both of Ayew and Adama we could have a decent front 4. Well if Adama and Grealish met the expectations. We will need also experienced players who could handle the pressure.
  2. I hope he stays. One the players who might really help us beginning of next season.
  3. Btw most of Newcaste results were against top teams. So they still could find it hard down there. We were better than them at their place. They haven't score at ours. There results against bottom half teams werent thatgod even under Benetiz. Anyway we need to really look at ourselves quickly.
  4. But thatteam has sealed Noooocastle relegation lol. We've already knew that we are down and accepted it. It would have been hard to remember that again after they have their revenge. Gladly they are down again.
  5. Which is not the usual. Since they went up they won atleast once.lol
  6. A must not lose game. We need to be sure that they dont go beyond 34 points and hope Norwich and Sunderland collect points. They have their hard fixtures this weekend so being 4 points behind would only damage their confidence.
  7. Its really funny that 3 of us seem to be going down at once. All three teams wanted to laugh at the other. Funnily all seem to be going together. Well this way is much better to make them laugh at the end. I hope we use the advantage of 2 months before other teams begin working.
  8. Im really glad Newcastle lost. Them and Sunderland coming down with us woulb be nice. It will ease the pressure and we will feel less bad in the coming weeks. Next season we will worry about it after knowing how our summer will go.
  9. It will ease some of the pain coming summer. Them and Mackems going down with us is the best. It will be hard and we will need to do the same with either Norwich or those. I would also like us to go all games with kids apart from the toon. Go with the best teamsheet and players possible. Take them down with us. That would do me for the rest of the season. Although I know our team is bad and we are bad anyway against these. So Id rather Norwich to beat them and secure their relegation as early as possible.
  10. All I want now is to secure Newcastle relegation. Mackems going down would be a bonus. They all paid a lot which could damage them and could be a blessing for us. Well I know thats a wishful thinking but what do we have else to think. Leicester to be sure securing the title and not letting Spurs get it. Dare to say it, but West Ham to go to the CL rather than the Mancs. Basically the only important game for me is the Newcastle game. Play with best team and formation and get them down with us. Next season we would have a lot of things to do with or without them. After all Burnley and Hull are pulling the trees down there. Where QPR who kept paying loads of money are below the ****.
  11. For me relegating Newcastle would still be a goal. It would ease much pressure off us. Especially at my place as theyre well known.
  12. If we keep, Okore,Lescott,Amavi,Richards Gueye,Veretout,Grealish,Adama,Gil,Bacuna Ayew,Gestede,Kozak Then we would have an ok squad which needs a quality keeper. Quality striker. Possibly midfielder. I think with the striker and keeper we would look a different side. An onform Grealish and settled Traore would change a lot. The new striker too.
  13. If Villa could get back I dont think it would affect the fan base. Whoever has sticked for the last 4 seasons wont hate Villa for one season in tge championship. However more than a season down there and it would damage that. In our area, Newcastle have more fans as theyve been on CL in probably the first couple of years that the europian football was shown here in Arab countries. The Villa fans I know are hardcore fans. I dont think they will leave the team in the championship. But more than a year it would affect in many cases. Games not being shown would also affect. But could get through with it for the first year.
  14. I will be honest enough to say that I couldnt watch football game with much exciting if its not related to myeam. Either Villa or my local team. In a relegation battle I watch other teams games nervously. Without these nerves some of the football excitement goes. I find this with big teams games. I couldnt stay still for the whole game. Although the football played is much better than the **** we see everyweek. Yet it lacks something. I agree eith what you say though. We say we wont watch yet ending up in a much worse position by looking at the score all the time. I remember before Wycombe game I hated anything related to PL. I usually put the alarm before tge game if im sleeping . I didnt the day and hoped it wont be on tv. I ended up waking up and watching it. After Liverpool game I ran away from all football sites as it reminds you with that ****. Now I know before we play Stoke again I will start reading and looking forward and having hope again. I dont know what to say. Im trying to look forward for the Championship. Trying to find positives. Fearing from the worst. One of the things is that how would I look at the PL it would be painful. From now Im starting to feel this by hearing any praise for the PL. I will be trying to concentrate on my local team. But I dont think I will. Atleast until Villa are down mathematically. Newcastle getting down with us would ease the case.
  15. I think Leicester and Spurs winning today or atleast drawing would be good for us (irrelevantly). We've already played Leicester who are yet to play our rivals apart from Bournemouth. Spurs would play Swansea after this So you would like them to go there without having their confidence damaged. I know we would play them in the coming weeks. But it would be a hard game for us anyway. Arsenal and City are a big teams who would play for pride even if their confidence were damaged. So atleast we need Leicester to continue their form and fly high. I would like them to win the league also. They worked really hard and deserve it. To win the league in these circumstances is really something. Sadly, their turning point was from a team that we all know. If we stayed up I would really forgive them lol.
  16. I'm not really sure wether you mean before Ayew coming back or not. I might play Sinclair against Stoke as there is no Ayew there. I won't play Gil btw. Too risky to begin all of this at Stoke for example. I agree with the Bacuna part. I might consider putting him instead of Westwood. Him and Veretout with Gana behind them. That's a pacey front 5.
  17. C'mon Villa. Just win today ! Sturridge scores against us all the time. You could see Benteke scoring against us. Which I hope they don't. But anyway I could see Villa keeping it tight. And I hope we could sneak this and win. Gabby to rip there defence apart. Here is a hope lol.
  18. That's unfair. We've spent around 8m as an average for more than 5-6 players just this summer.
  19. Tbh, This is our best defensive unit for too long. I'm ok with Richards not willing to risk himself upfront, as if Hutton was offering something there apart from running. Atleast Richards is bullying players and better defensively and very good in set pieces. I think he's a very useful signing. I just think him being in CB costed us a lot (ofcourse with the fact that Hutton was beside him and other factors). Some say this is our worst squad since too long. For me, it's much better than the last couple of years. Benteke was the difference. I really think if we could stay up, then we have a chance to build a very very good squad. As we already have promising players in many areas. We need to add 3-4 quality signings that would help us climbing the table. Sadly we're far adrift so talking about this thing is little bit early, but hopefully a win today and it would look much brighter. I'm really happy with Richards being around the team. I would just like him to be at RB.
  20. I understand the case here, as the club weren't sure about the fitness of Okore, I think if he wasn't injured at the beginning of the season he was going to be offered a contract. Garde hasn't even started him until Richards was injured. Clark was in the list before him. Ofcourse it's hard for Garde to start someone who he's yet to have seen this season. Then he realized he's our best CB, and best pair with Lescott. Our position now wouldn't help. But I'm sure if he was fit he would have been offered a contract at the beginning of the season. The club managed to give Delph a contract last season (although with a clause) with 6 months until it runs. They gave Benteke a new one after his first season. I really think the issue was his injuries and they weren't sure how well would he be when he's back. I wouldn't blame the board too much here.
  21. He needs to develope. But he's only 20. We've been calling some of our players kids even when they were 24-26 ! If he's managed well he could be very useful. His decision making is horrible but even than other team need to put two or three players around him. Which would give Ayew and the others a chance to have more spaces. I think a front three of Ayew,Gabby,Traore would be frightening for away games. We've been lacking pace this season. With these three I think they well be very useful away from home. Where we need to upgrade our game. Ofcourse, he need cover behind him. So throw Richards there and tell him to focus in defence to give Traore the chance.
  22. A win today, and we are back to the race. A draw would be good for the momentum and give us an extra point on teams above us, but that would require atleast 4 points from the next two after that. to keep in touch.
  23. It's not as just if he scored a last minute winner. First of all I was referring about what people are saying that he's on a high contract without performing good. Some said he would worth it if he had consistency. I said he doesn't need to if he did the job and won us 4-6 games. Which we haven't done without him. Ofcourse it's not only because of him. But if he managed to do what we lacked (scoring) and score those winners. I would definitly be happy for him for all what he took or will take. Even if he haven't played a minute after that. I'm not saying he's a legend or anything. But he's still our most goal scorer in the PL. He's one of our academy. We would all like him to be as we thought before. It's not going to happen though. But if he was helpful in the miracle of us staying up. He would save us a lot of money and would be the new signing we all wanted the previous window. In other words, say we got Adebayor or anyone else to save us. All of us will say he's worth his contract if he scored us those goals. Most won't depend on Adebayor next season but they'd accept giving him contract to let him help us staying this season. I think the main problem with Gabby is that he's over used, and manager stick with him even when he's performing bad. That's one of the things which make us not happy seeing him. BTW, It's not about staying up, but about staying up from our position. Were we all accepted relegation. Basically, if he did this and we stayed up, He would worth it more than if he played consistently from now and then we go down then he gets the most goal scorer down there to make us promote again.
  24. There is another thing about them. They're suffering mentally, after Liverpool and now this. Plus they had a very bad run. They were on 23 with Bournemouth around 20 or 19. I think they've won once after winning against us then lost all. All of these factors could help. Swansea getting back on a losing streak would only help. They have some hard fixtures coming on. Hopefully Leicester win tomorrow or atleast draw so they could hold on their confidence before playing our rivals. There are two teams that are really in a bad runs, Norwich and Palace. The latter have much more points which could see them safe. But they have a tricky fixture next week with WBA, I think the loser would suffer.
