We’re only two games and a half this season. What I’m seeing from him is promising. I would like to have another option but I also think him firing again is like a new signing. What worries me is his selfishness. I think he’s going to score at Ipswich, hopefully a hatrick there. ? It was my first away game to go to since the loss against Man Utd when Sherwood took ever. What a game to go to last season. So hopefully this season is another great win.

I don’t think anyone has a problem by a release clause of 30m if we don’t go up. But the issue is if that clause works even if we went up! I think as long as we’re in the right way we could keep him. I mean going up, show some ambition. I think taking it step by step is the right way. I doubt the club would put a clause unless its for us failing to go up.

You're not considering Davis who played his part last season, RHM who could also play his part this season. I understand that we need to have players who could cover. But sometimes some of the young players could shine that way. Last season we only had 3 CB's also. We also had one striker only when Hogan and Kodjia were injured. Anyway, I think we need to have a striker who would improve us with quality, we're fine in term of squad depth but we lack quality in areas. We need a quality striker, winger, LB and wouldnt mind a CB.

Are we linked with Odegaard or is it just wishes? Are we strongly linked to anyone at the moment?

I don't mind Jedi, I was just saying that experience itself isn't the solution. When you're putting Jedi in that position its because you don't trust other players experience.

Our experience backline gifted two not only one goal to Wigan. ?

I’d play diamond formation, which would include, Jack, John, Connor and Thor. We certainly lack wingers, for now I’d play these 4 with Kodjia and one of (Green, Adomah, RHM) in a forward two.

Just put Adomah instead of Jedinak and things would hopefully go well. Strange tactics, Tuanzebe seem good in high balls so I think we don’t need Jedinak at CB this game.

The only thing I’m afraid is him being pressured to fill Terry’s place. Don’t get me wrong he’s a good prospect and we’re really short of defence. Especially when we are putting our hopes on a kid who have barely played in senior level. However I’m hoping he could fullfil his potential and we could have have with us permanently.

I agree with that, but remember that season we had our most important players changed. This season mostly are players who we are happy to see them changed. We will still have two of: Hutton, De light and Elmo. Hourihane, Thor, Jedi, Whelan, Lansbury. Atleast three of those will be here. Kodjia and Adomah aren’t surely leaving. All of those will have their chances, actually we’re more afraid that Bruce won’t have the courage to introduce the new guys. ?

We didn’t have players to help these new players to settle. We were not scoring goals for around 3 months before Sherwood came who had 4 players playing attacking football (Tekkers, Jack, Delph and Cleverly) we had our form, 4 wins, and our luck run out in our last three games (Saints, Burnley and the cup final). We haven’t replaced Benteke, nor had a proper cb. All the french players were good and promising. Look at Gana, Amavi, Veretout and even Adama. Its just that they came in the worst time. Had we win that game against Leicester, it would have been another season than what we’ve seen. Leicester wouldn’t have win the title, we will atleast had our chance fighting to survive till the end of the season. Anyway we needed a change and a gamble, we were distened to go down anyway. Without Benteke we would have gone down in Lambert first season.

I don’t think Bruce will give them the chance they need anyway. So them to develope somewhere else will be better for all parties.

Only Chester, Grealish from last season team. Add Hourihane or Thor in that DM spot and we’re sorted. Although can’t say that I’ve heard of Success, Abraham, Bryan, Mcginn or Nyland before getting linked with us. ?

Still could get him at the end of August he have plenty of time to think.

Most of departures will be loans so we still have time to shift some of them I think. Although JDH, COH need to be loaned soon with all of those who are coming. Davies and RHM could have their part I think. Maybe even Clarke as we only have Taylor who could go too.

Most of strikers that we’re linked with are young players playing in big teams, they would still think about the offers before sending them on loans. There is still 20 days to do that.

If we manage to get Mcginn, Bryan, Success and a striker. We’re suddenly a young team again.

I think he was highly rated before coming to Watford, they paid 12.5m for him. I think its an interesting signing especially if we could get him on loan with a choice to buy.

Middlesbrough are a big threat I think. They came back at Millwall from 2-0 and won against Sheff U. There form was great at the end of last season too. I just hope we could just build up confidence and continue winning.

Who’ll be in the other side then? ?

Yeah, we are believing. We will always have hopes. Even in our relegation year I’ve been having some hopes. Its just that I fear the worst. We’re in a much better position than last month. We were selling Jack for nothing. But everytime things seem to go well something step us back. When you see the players we had in our relegation year, many had qualities and were promising but came in the worst time. If we had Vlaar, Benteke for another season we would have a team. Anyway, we’re in a much better position than the last couple of years. UTV!

Do we have time to use it right? Is Bruce our main manager for the re-build? What if we failed promotion this season, where the fund will come from?

Shifting Gardner, Lansbury, Tshibola would sort things out. Richards has only one year left in his contract. We’ve already offload Gabby, Terry and Snodgrass wages. Hutton has lowered his wages. There are a lot of variables which would suggest we could get through without selling Grealish. We could also sell either Kodjia or Adomah and sort things out. The thing with Grealish assuming his form is upwards and no injuries its as you’re having asset which brings you reveneus, whenever you need you could sell and the longer you hold the more you sell it for.

Selling James Milner and Gareth Barry faded any chance for us going to Europe. Selling Ashley Young and Stewart Downing made us a lower midtable team with relegation fear until the end of every season. Selling Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph, well, it costed us our Premier League record.?
