A new villa is being built.. all before Pre Season. im excited. The departing players have help rebuild this club. Whelan, Jedinak, Elphick, Adomah & Hutton were honest professionals players. Something that we haven’t had for years. They have left a legacy for the type of mentality that we want in our dressing room.

I just hope that we sign some wide players with electric pace and trickery . We will struggle to score if we have slow wingers or attackers.

Soo would you keep him? I think Whelan will get another year. But Grealish, Chester, Mings & McGinn set the standard. We also have a back room staff that is part of the culture here.

Winning the playoff final has now created that culture and enhanced the togetherness of this squad. Something that we did not have in the dressing room for the past decade. There is now a culture at Aston Villa football club. When the new players step foot on Bodymoor Heath players like Mcginn, Grealish and hopefully Mings will be reminding them that it is a privilege to play for this club. Quality will help us during the relegation battle but more importantly our dressing room spirit will make us overcome the battle. To maintain this continuity I think that it’s a must that we sign at least 3 of our loan signings. This will help our new signings gel into our squad.

Grateful to be amongst the elite. We have earned the right to be in that league now.

From what I know. Axel has enjoyed his time at Aston Villa and living in Birmingham for the past two years. He has been at Man Utd from a little boy and he loves that club and is ready to go back next season. He is highly thought of at United and he is very likely to be a first team player for united. / He has been a good servant for us and has helped us to get promoted.

Bournemouth, Burnley and Southampton have better squads than us. Because some fans may not be familiar with their players does not mean our squad is on par or better. The standard of the premier league is a lot higher than it was when we was last in it. If we get promoted next Monday. We will require a squad capable of finishing around the 15th spot or higher.

And £25 million for Abraham is not cost effective. There is so much talent abroad for cheap.

Against better opposition a holding player will not be enough for Mcginn and Grealish. High quality fullbacks that can outnumber the opposition midfield players would be very beneficial for Grealish and Mcginn.

So we have a transfer window that could go either way.. IF we get promoted our recruitment has to be spot on. This is a different premier league that we got relegated from. The full back position is perhaps one of the most valuable position on the pitch so I would expect heavy investment. Defensively we would need premier league experience. I would get a player like Ben Mee in from Burnley, very dominant and a lot of premier league experience. James Tarkowski is also a top defender. We would need a modern day holding player that can screen the defence, win loose balls and be very good on the ball. Whether we get have Abraham or not, I would love us to sign Rondon. He would guarantee 10 goals in that league. I wouldn’t want us to fall into the same trap as Fulham with regards to their style. They had an attacking mindset but defensively they were very poor. There are teams that we will not be able to outscore so defensively we will need to be disciplined. This is IF we get promoted..

To put things into perspective in the midst of the winding up order leading up to pre season.. I never would had thought that we was a final game away from promotion in Wembley. If.. we overcome this final hurdle. I will be reflecting on the past difficult four years. Staff have lost jobs, turgid football, financial issues ect. If.. we overcome this final hurdle. There will be a lot to look forward to.

Phillips is a solid player

Derby are awful, Lampard has done a terrific job to take them this far. Team lacks physicality and quality

DS could consider having Grealish on right more. He will still play in his position but drift towards the right a lot more to support who is playing on the right because that’s our weak offensive spot.

I would consider playing Elmo at right mid with either Tuanzebe, or Hutton right back.

The song is stupid and offensive. Im sure Tammy would rather be celebrated for his ability opposed to his race being the forefront of the song. He is aware that he’s black.. so what’s the point of the song?

He made an error however he has been a major contributor this season and we may not have been in the playoffs without his contribution. He deserves our support.

Grealish also hasn’t been effective

We have been very poor this half. Our key players so far are missing. Mcginn has been absent. Albion are very difficult to break down.

I had high hopes for Andre Green, not too long ago he was linked to Arsenal and he played without fear. He plays with a lot of fear during offensive moves. For me Adomah starts ahead of him because Adomah is ruthless to an extent. Adomah doesn’t always try to cut inside he mixes it up in the final third. For me as a winger you want to absolutely destroy the full back with skill, pace and unpredictability. Andre does not display this which is disappointing because before his injuries he was aggressive in attack.

I am looking forward to this game and I am hoping that we can show Leeds what this team is really about. I don’t think that we will miss Tammy as much because the majority of his goals are from home games. Kodjia is a talented player and depending on which Kodjia shows up he could turn some of their defenders inside out and cause havoc. Kodjia has the ability to do something magical. Honestly I don’t want us resting players. They need to keep their momentum up and this could be a rehearsal for a play off final. So I would rather our players use this game as a mental advantage.
