    Smith to stay! im excited for the summer, total rebuild, old players out and new players in. The comments here are embarrassing, thankfully beyond the keyboard warriors the villains know the journey that we are about to embark on. Instead of pulling your hair out and turning different colours let’s just patiently see what happens. Its only football.

    This is the one of the few things that disappoints me with Mcginn. He needs to improve his decision making. Hopefully this will improve.

    He wants premier league football next season he also wants to be in contention for England. We will allow him to leave otherwise he will try to force the move.

    Grealish will be allowed to leave in the summer. He will hand in a transfer request if he isn’t allowed to leave. Quote this in the summer.

    We all need to give the man the opportunity to do his job. I was a skeptic to begin with, but I have seen enough of him to know that he is not a chancer. Pre season is going to be interesting.

    That article has not explained what Suso has and is currently doing. It is a sporting director talking about what the this role entails. His statements are very vague. We can only see what results Suso’s role will bring to Villa

    Let the fickle and non DS supporters bicker amongst themselves in this thread. They will come around once we are in some form again.. as fickle fans normally do.

    Players get banned for high foot challenges when it’s not intentional. i don’t want him to be banned but realistically speaking I would not be surprised.

    I would be very surprised if he does not receive a ban. 3 games minimum. whether it was intentional or not it was still a dangerous act that caused damage to another footballer.

    Let’s see. But it’s almost certain that he will be gone if we don’t get promoted.

    We may need to start preparing for his replacement. I do not think that he will be one to stay in the summer.

    He is under no pressure from the owners and is here for the long haul.

    Last big contract so it was a no brainer to come here. Personally I have always rated him and could be key to how we build up into our attack in addition to his defensive capabilities & mobility. It appears that him signing is the end of Jedinak, Whelan & Bjarnason for the summer.

    I still rate him very highly and I think that one day he will be a premier league player.

    I would rather wait for signings instead of speculating on rumours.
