One thing I am concerned about is our defence now that Terry has left.
I know he wasn’t our defensive coach but he has helped Mings and Konsa become better defenders as well as our full backs.
I think that his presence will be missed this season.
Well it will take him a while to get going.
He has missed the Pre season games and it will be tough for him. Hopefully he gets through and show his quality.
We are going to have more balance in our play now that the captain is leaving.
What I’m really excited about was that the Ings signing caught everyone off guard. This tells me that whoever we are interested in we cannot 100% call it.
I’m just looking forward to a summer where we aren’t dealing with these type of Sagas..
Management should take inspiration from Leicester on how they dealt with big losses and still competed.
I hope this sale will result in a shrewd investment in our squad so we can challenge the top 6.
He’s off, medical is apparently booked for today.
Too big of an opportunity to turn down. I will be watching him in the Champions league to see his development.
He has given a lot to this club and there are no grudges on my side.
I think if Grealish does leave it will be done amicably.
There is no reason for there to be sour grapes on both sides.
We are called a classy club in this sport for a reason and we might see why during Grealish’s departure.
Realistically, we couldn’t even break any of our academy players into the first team whilst in he Championship. That’s how difficult the league is.
Realistically the only academy players that could play in the Championship is JPB & Chukwuemeka.
His agent is a very shrewd negotiator.. Grealish was in the driving seat at the end of our survival campaign. That release clause was to protect Grealish and financially for us.
His agent wanted Grealish at another club 3 years ago. He has been waiting for this moment to happen.
