Here's the easiest, quickest, everybody can get it immediately chant EVER for Houllier's first game.

Sung/chanted to the Ole chant:

Allez Allez Allez Allez

Allez

Houllier

Allez Allez Allez Allez

Allez

Houllier

Allez Allez Allez Allez

Allez

Houllier

Allez in French is used as "come on" or "lets go!" Sung loudly frrom the terraces for a good 5-6 minutes and Gerard will feel most welcomed to Villa Park.

There's always the When I Was Young chant:

When I was young, I had a dream,

To watch the greatest football team,

So here I am, my dream’s on its way,

With Randy Lerner and Houllier,

Houllier, Houllier, Houllier Houllier

Knicked this off 606 - To tune of three lions

===============================================

The Pride of Brum,

The Pride of Brum,

The Pride of,

We are the Pride of Brum

Everyone seems to know the score,

They've seen it all before,

They just know,

They're so sure,

That Villa's Gonna throw it away,

Gonna blow it away,

But know they can play,

'Cause I remember...

One Lion on a shirt,

'82 still gleaming,

Too many years of hurt,

Never stopped us dreaming.

So many jokes, so many sneers,

But all those oh-so-nears,

Wear you down,

Through the years,

But I still see that tackle by McGrath,

And when Peter Withe scored,

Cowans belting the ball,

And Yorkie Dancing...

One Lion on a shirt,

'82 still gleaming,

Many years of hurt,

Never stopped us dreaming

:crylaugh:

There's no way that'd get sung at VP.

How about we get everyone singing "Oh what a night"...

Oh what a night,

Late in May in 1982,

Kings of Europe in claret & blue,

as I remember what a night,

:winkold:

Not sure if this is the spot for this comment/question but it would be most appreciated if someone could post what is sung for Houllier tonight. It's not every day that a new manager begins his tenure. The game tonight is not televised in the US so the chants can't even be heard through a TV feed. Thanks much to anyone willing to share.
