It relates because everyone talking about how spurs are at the back but they are not. We look much worse.

Again still don't know how it relates, the fact that we've looked a bit shaky at the back doesn't mean Spurs don't also. Can't really be bothered to argue about it, we haven't looked the same without Mings, but Spurs also look a bit shit at the back too. Both can be true.

Im not arguing. Ive explained the point and how it relates.

Spurs defence looks bettee than ours. So if theirs isnt good whats ours?

Id say spurs look like a very solid defensive unit so far

They've looked o.k. Bournemouth could've scored a couple v them and Fernandes missed a total free header at 0-0 that he'd never miss v us.

Let's see how well it holds up at Anfield and Newcastle when the time comes.

If they only let in 7 goals, it'll be better than ours 😜

Yep those are the key tests

They have had a rather favorable set of fixtures but they have arsenal and liverpool coming up

Dier's still there isn't he?

Was some Fulham interest so you'd have thought he'd have been o.k with taking a slight wage cut but still playing in London and for a decent mid table team.

When people talk about Angeball and all that really to me he's dropped two of the most Spurs players ever permanently, Dier and Hojbjerg and surprise surprise the whole unit looks far more cohesive.

You forgot to mention all the new players they signed

New keeper cb rb maddison and bissouma who hardly played last ssason. Thats half the team.

But they really havebt been tested yet. They got some tough games coming up after sheff utd so thats when we can see how good they really are

United really? They have looked totally woeful this season. They always syart the season badly.

Brentford a totally different proposition without toney.

Not like they have had newcastle or liverpool away..

Brentford beat Spurs without Toney a few months back and havent lost a game since his suspension

United are still a top 4 team, they are ahead of Newcastle who smashed us

Selling Sanchez, so they don't really have a lot of center back depth.... especially if Romero gets injured again

After Dier there is nobody apart from Ben Davies (probably the most uninventive full back in the league) They have a young Estonian international in their u21s who might be good enough to step up too.

Spurs under Ange will see something similar to us under UE. He's a good coach.

But like many - he's only a few injuries away from playing players out of position to keep them on the pitch.

Son is injury prone and Richarlison has scored less goals than Cash. Their CB situation aside from their top 2 is unenviable.

Healthy - they'll be a threat and they're already knocked out of one cup and not in any competitions so they should be fresh!

What?

He has played 30 league games or more every season except for one since 2012 and missed 6 games in the last 3 seasons

Oh wow that’s actually impressive. Though if I recall, hasn’t he played most of last season injured? And previous seasons with various masks not at 100%

I still think we have had a tougher start than them.

United got spanked 5-0 by brentford warly start of last season. They always start slowly. Lets see how they do against arsenal and liverpool
