Stevo985 Posted July 5, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted July 5, 2013 have to say for our Tata workers that I think the Evoque is one of the best looking cars on the road at present I don't really do 4 x 4's but I might make an exception in it's case You're in luck... there's a 2WD version, so no exception needs to be made

Stevo985 Posted July 5, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted July 5, 2013 Yeah I very much don't like that. I'd never buy it. BUT, it'll appeal to a lot of people who probably wouldn't have bought one of our cars before. So it's a good thing (for us, obviously)

chrisp65
Latest JD Power Results if anyone's interested. Jaguar best brand and Land Rover 6th (up from 12th) Not purely based on reliability, but that plays a big part. Incidentally, the Discovery leads it's class in terms of faults reported. 15 years of being told Alfa's are much improved over what they used to be, leaves them 26th out of 27 brands
turnbull
Can't really see the point of these soft-roader cars, bar that they're "fashionable" I suppose. Give me decent sized estate car every time, far more practical.

leviramsey Posted July 6, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted July 6, 2013 So now would be a good time to mention the Rear Dif that fell apart 3 weeks after the warrant expired having done 25k miles.... or the electrical fault that kept telling me the steering lock was on as I did 70 down the motorway and stopped the keys from charging in the ignition? Its not been remotely reliable but I do like it. :/ It wouldn't be a British car unless the electrical system was rubbish...

Otherwise everyone would be driving things like a Citroen Berlingo. Big, cheap cars.
