There isn't an issue that they're owned by Saudis. The issue is they're owned by the Saudi government, which is 1) not allowed under PL rules and 2) a government with a horrendous human rights record, a history of murdering journalists and essentially committing a genocide of Yemenis.

And you have no issues with your owners killing journalists and Yemeni children in their thousands. We all know who's actually sick mentally here. Your shitty little club is irredeemable, you've no history of success and anything you win from now into perpetuity will forever be washed in blood. Way aye mate, enjoy.

They lied to the government about not being government owned in order to get your disgraceful owners through the back door. Every football fan in the country will see any success Newcastle have going forward as not only immoral to the highest degree but also invalid. It will be a very shallow success and would count for absolutely nothing outside of Newcastle. Edited April 6, 2023 by GlobalVillan
Popular Post Wainy316
Man City fans always seem to have struggled with the fact that nobody has ever really cared about or respected any of their clubs 'achievements'. Newcastle fans will have to expect the same. Edited April 6, 2023 by Wainy316

If the wealth fund is separate from the government, which in this case, it clearly isn't. Blood of Yemeni children on your hands, but why aye eh? Pinebro
It's not his fault or anyone else Newcastle fans fault who they are owned by. What are they going to do? Stop supporting their boyhood club? I wouldn't stop supporting Villa if we had Iranian owners. Yes I would be critical of the ownership but I would still support my club.

If Villa were taken over by a murderous, antidemocratic regime, I'd have no qualms stepping away tomorrow. I'd consider the club dead and would simply support nobody at this level of football for the rest of my days. Happy to have that held against me if ever we go through the takeover process again. Football should never be tied to such things. Ever. Some things are bigger than football and always should take precedence.
