daggy_333
Sounds like 4-2-3-1 to me Gabby, N'Zogbia and Weimann behind Benteke?
LockStockVilla
Nice team. Wonder if its Gabby on the left and Zog on the right or 433? Very much expect it to work similarly to Saturday. Weimann and Gabby wider, Zog in the hole.

Kwan
Wonder if we go 4-4-2 with Benteke and Weimann up top with Agbonlahor and CNZ on the wings or 4-2-3-1 with Gabby and Weimann on the wings and CNZ in the middle. I'd prefer the latter

LockStockVilla
Suddenly crapping myself. Haha same here. Don't even think it is because I'm scared of the opposition, just that we are so so close to a final, and these opportunities don't come often enough! Dr_Pangloss
So what we need is a weak team to play away against a side that dumped out Arsenal in the last round? Eh I don't think we can chance this one, we need at least a draw, and a cup final would be nice. Edited January 8, 2013 by Dr_Pangloss
jayEm
Only fear tonight is conceding early- we've done that far too much lately and doing it again would change the game completely.

Believe me, I'd love to thrash them and put this tie to bed in the first leg but the Southampton game is so important.
nobler
I wouldn't worry about the Southampton game. These sorts of games are what it's all about, still have very fond memories of beating Arsenal in 96, Tranmere in 94 and the second leg against Blackburn a few years back. Great memories. Tiredness isn't an issue for me. We need confidence and games. Victories do that. Edited January 8, 2013 by nobler
The_Lions_Roar
I don't want any injuries or tiredness for the Southampton game. Tiredness? It's 4 days away. I think we had to go strong. The worst thing to do would be underestimate them.
daggy_333
Timothy Abraham @TimothyAbraham Reckon #AVFC to line-up 4-2-3-1 as follows: Given; Lowton, Baker, Clark, Bennett; Delph, Bannan; Weimann, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor; Benteke
