DeepDish Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Seems like PL is still in "friendly" mode at the moment, testing out squads and formations to try and build from. We'll probably see a fair bit of that this season. None of us can say if the likes of Delfouneso will make it in the Prem because they've never really had a chance. This is where we find out. I think we will see that Lambert will use more of the squad, play different tactics and mix it up a lot more than we have seen at Villa Park before. He mixed it up all season yesterday with Norwich. Our first team contains Lowton, Baker, Delfouneso and Bannan. We really have fallen a long way since MON. Yes we've always had a strong bench and been up there with Utd. Agree about another striker but who would you rather play - Ireland or N'Zogbia??? I would rather N'Zogbia started - to me he is more dynamic, offers us pace and is more likely to score.
