JohnCresswell Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Don't care as long as it looks good tbh
metalmatt Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 i dont mind, still wear my old hummel shirt from the early nineties, the one after the horrible stripey thing tho. has anyone got one of those for sale?
Paul_W Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Maybe we're jumping the gun here....7m over 4 years isnt bad going money wise, so lets wait for the kit before we start being too negative.
MattS Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Not Bothered...I atual like the yellow away kit this year so you gus will probably take my vote away from me anyway
paddy Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 at least they're giving us a choice, i expect it to all be very similar (mostly look like the Denmark kit, those stupid sleeves) but still, the fact that they're giving some of us (not quite sure who) the choice is a positive sign
lexicon Posted February 10, 2004 Author Posted February 10, 2004 well im put down by the fact that we probably arent getting a lot of money from the deal, its been pretty shoddy since Reebok in terms of that - and we just get pretty crappy kits in comparison to everyone else.
bc-lions Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Not pleased i'm hard pushed to find a hummel kit that does not look like, a sunday pub team kit .I'll give them a chance though and as usual , i'll buy the home and away kit just dont make me wear them . :?
TOTTI-THE-GOD Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 I've gone pleased on this one as i think it will be a good omen , all we need now is mitre copiers to sponser us now,LOL

The figure I heard was 7 FIGURES over four years. From what I heard the total amount was about £2m (£500k p.a.) which is actually pretty weak. As and when I know the actual figure I'll post it here. Also, Hummel were the only company to put in a bid, which speaks for itself, really.
nrogers Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 Why the **** can't we attract the likes of Nike and Adidas, we get stuck with Hummel and diadora, Just what do our commercial dept do???
lexicon Posted February 11, 2004 Author Posted February 11, 2004 500 grand a year... that is division one standard. what the **** is going on?
Richard Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 Couldn't give a stuff. As to the money, well what do you expect from our crappy marketing team. The way our club is run is a joke from top to bottom.

paulanddonya Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Why the **** can't we attract the likes of Nike and Adidas, we get stuck with Hummel and diadora, Just what do our commercial dept do??? Just found this - what was that Bob Dylan song.... The times they are a changing ........
Condimentalist Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 In fairness, I think Hummel actually did some quite nice designs, but the manufacturing quality was a bit poor. Looking forward to the shift to Nike. The fact that it is fashionable in the playground IS important as well, even if that's a phrase usually used in a derogatary way.
