How about anyone? McLeish is the worst manager in the league and IMO one of the worst in the country. Even Kevin MacDonald would be a step up.

I'm sure Steve Kean would do a great job at Villa. :)

They've beaten Man Utd and Arsenal this season :winkold:

The job of a manager?

To install belief into the team.

To make the team hard to beat.

To attempt to win every game, no matter if it is against the team in 1st or 20th.

In other words, to get the team out giving their best at all times.

To never give in.

When things go against you, to do everything possible to change that around.

Does AM do any of these?

He's better than McLeish.

I even saw a few pratts clapping I think in protest at those booing.

I was one of those pratts but I was applauding Swansea for an excellent display. The ground was 9/10ths empty by then so any protest would have been very muted.

The reaction to Ireland being subbed was huge though (and rightly so).

A good example would be Moyes at WBA yesterday. He brought on 2 strikers to try and win the game when at 0-0 and amazingly enough his team got another load of points in the last 10 minutes of a game. I have no confidence that AMC would have the tactical nous to attempt game changing substitutions.

Are there no other managers out there like Moyes?

It's irrelevant anyway because we're stuck with AMC and his horrific take on football.

Actually it's 6 if you count the laughable Carling Cup knockout.

Villa 0-2 Bolton

Villa 1-2 WBA

Villa 0-1 Man Utd

Villa 0-2 Liverpool

Villa 1-2 Arsenal

Villa 0-2 Swansea

4 out of 6 home defeats where we've failed to score. Holy ****.

Sad to say but every home draw and/or defeat is another nail in McLeish's coffin.

That is the only positive thing I can take from today's and other shit home performances this season.

Sad to say I can't see Mcleish getting the sack unless we were relegated.

He's here for awhile.
