He is a good player but some fans and media would make you think he bowls like Glenn McGrath and bats like Sachin Tendulkar Its hard to say on his day he can transform a match but depends which Ben Stokes turned up., I am disappointed that Moeen who I am a huge fan of has had a poor series. Broad hasn't taken many wickets as he. I think our attack is poor unless there is swing. Cooks career is coming to an end I feel. he's become a flat track bully. Smith doesn't look pretty but boy when he gets inj he makes it count. He's almost Bradman like. Root should learn a lesson from him. When you get to 50 you have to turn that into big hundreds. OutByEaster? Posted December 25, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 25, 2017 They're 26-0 already and not looking in the slightest bit troubled. I reckon they'll declare at about 700.

snowychap
They must be on for close to 400 from their 50 overs.
snowychap
Right. That's enough of that. Well done to the aussies on their win.
OutByEaster? Posted December 26, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 26, 2017 102-0 at lunch. Looking bright. I'm not sure I'd put money on us getting a wicket today.
markavfc40
122-1 and once again England are on the back foot. It probably sums up the series actually as we have never really had the initiative and looked in control. snowychap
I fail to understand how you can bowl a no ball.
Rodders
Well went to sleep at 79/0 so 244/3 is certainlt better than feared. Early wicketa still essential though
OutByEaster? Posted December 26, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 26, 2017 Cunning this from England - if we can keep them slow, it could take them another two days to reach 600 and declare - then all we've got to do is bat out both our innings over two days for a glorious draw.
Zatman
Anderson criticizing the pitch as batting friendly, if England are bowled out cheaply he is going to look quite the idiot
OutByEaster? Posted December 27, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 27, 2017 Well now we've done it. Now we have to bat on day two - poor form from the England bowlers.

Rodders
Blimey. Good day for us although i am reluctant to say we are on top until we have got a lead! The series hasn't exactly imbued us with confidence in the lower order. Still credit where due and great to see a Cook century again.
dAVe80
Not that it matters all that much, in a series that's already lost, but I'm glad that I was proven right, after a drunken argument I had before the second test. A guy I know was banging on about Cook being finished, and that he'd never get a century again. I said he's not, and he'd get a century this tour. The guy laughed at me, so I had a little chuckle, when I looked at the scorecard this morning. Can't wait to bump into him.

OutByEaster? Posted December 28, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 28, 2017 Funny old innings this - we've been very good apparently, but we're still behind with four down and two of those have walked despite not being out. It's a difficult one to predict.
OutByEaster? Posted December 28, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 28, 2017 Two wickets left, a lead of 46 and Cook on 182 - will he make it to 200 and can we establish a lead worth having?
OutByEaster? Posted December 28, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 28, 2017 Well done Chef - daddy ton. Broad is annoying the Aussies no end too.
