One reason my Liverpool supporting mate said Klopp is leaving, is because he says Liverpool haven't got the resources of the Man City's, Chelseas.  Fub me, they are missing Salah, brought on Jota who scores nearly every game he's played, have Diaz, van Dijk, Elliot, Arnold, Szoboszli as subs, all top first teamers in most teams. Thiago, Matip and Robertson all injured and still top of the league.

Not bad for a team who apparently lack resource.

But they don't have the resources of Man City or Chelsea.  Their spend has been at least double Liverpool's over the last decade and Liverpool have spent a lot.

I think there was a post a while back, they just sold some players for huge fees so their overall spend is lower, but let's not kid ourselves they have spent big on some players.

Just a typical deluded Liverpool fan comment about not having the money...

Liverpool have essentially spent on a par with Aston Villa, not Man City/Man Utd/Chelsea.

Good luck finding another job if you'll only interested in clubs who have as much money as Man C. There is PSG and then nothing else.

Might be true, but they have sold for alot more, Coutinho for 1. I'd be interested in total spend over last 10 years excluding out goings, be far more than us.

Didn't realise they were that high... but still closer to Aston Villa than they are to Chelsea/Man City/Man Utd, as I said.

Have United really gone full strength versus Newport?

i guess they might as well, they have a number of players who need to play themselves into either fitness or form. Looks like it's going to lead to a fairly dull game for the neutral though.

Terrified of the fall out if they lose or draw I think is the real reason.
