When you see other lists you are reminded of the ones you love that hit your own cutting floor. Can't believe @Designer1 didn't add horror slasher and horror sci-fi and others to his list😁

I did limit myself (slightly) to movies that I own physical copies of.

It was still a **** though 😄

Best Fantasy? That’s got me all nostalgic thinking of Ray Harryhausen films and Jim Henson production’s. Some beauties in this category.

The Thief of Bagdad (1940), Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts and numerous Sinbad films. Krull, Willow, Ladyhawke, Conan the Barbarian, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The Time Bandits.

More recently, the Harry Potter films, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films.

I'm going to give an honourable mention to a film not mentioned or probably will be but is as good as anything above, Goodbye Mr. Chips 1939 starring Robert Donat, an all time classic.

Robert Donat at the peak of his skills. Lovely film.

I bet if your doctor asked you for a urine specimen , you give him a sperm and stool sample as well  :)

I nearly had Dredd in my action one. Felt bad leaving it out.

There are about 50 movies that deserve to be up in my list and didn't make it. Comedy shafted so many and so did action and thriller

I'm disappointed with the lack of 2001 in the sci-fi sections on here.

Ahem.

Wouldn't know where to start 😱

All I can say is for comedy it would be Holy Grail or Groundhog Day.

The Quiet Man also gets in my list no Idea what category.

Musical would be Brigadoon.

Crime/action obviously The Boondock Saints.
