Clearly bollocks, but Umtiti is the level we should be looking at is we are thinking of upgrading Mings.

He's left footed too, very injury prone though, but if it was a loan then it could work.

He really isnt, maybe 5 years ago yes but now would be a big fat no.  Mings is way ahead of him now

Geez, Barca are a shambles.  How can a club as big as that be run so badly?

His contract expired in 2023 so they tried to buy him out and he refused, Best solution was to give him a new contract until 2026 with a paycut but gets money over time :D

Arsenal about to buy Zinchenko and pull further away from us.

Well they are at least 2 years ahead of us anyway.

Arteta had a tough couple of seasons building his squad and playing style and its started to pay off.

We don't need Zinchenko anyway, we've got Carney 🙃. Lol

Without going off topic I thought Arsenal were probably one of the dullest teams to watch last season along with ourselves and Bruceball Newcastle. Them bottling Champions League and Arteta gets praised for it

Maybe Jesus will get them into the Champions League but I think they will fight United for 5th

We need a proven premier league DM, if Kamara takes some time to adapt ,which most players do, then we haven't moved on from last season.

No we don’t Kamara will turn out to be our most astute signing this window the question will be can we keep hold of him as he develops.

Players come and go. As long as we can make a good profit on them and bring in adequate replacements it's not a problem. If Kamara lives up to the hype then we would be selling him for £50+m. Considering he was free that would be incredible business.

Just seen they’ve just announced the squad for the tour of Oz and redid through the squad it’s easily top 10 on paper until you get to the strikers - Ings Watkins, then Archer & Davis in support isn’t going to be enough IMO and expect a striker and  a starting midfielder to join before summers out

I don't think anybody is questioning Kamara's undoubted talent or ability, just that he might not hit the ground running as people are expecting, or if he gets injured or suspended we are back to the same midfield 3 of last season, which was quite frankly, crap.

People keep saying this but its better forward options than nearly every team out of the top 6

2 of them have played for England in the last 3 seasons

Thank god someone said it.

Ings and Watkins (and even Archer) are miles ahead of the dire options at Brighton, Newcastle, Wolves, Everton, Leicester and West Ham.

I hope you are right, be amazing if he starts well and can maintain it for a full season.

If I was in Gerrard's position I would want cover and decent cover at that. Relying on Nakamba, Chambers and Douglas, even McGinn had a go at it last season, is a big risk.

If Vardy was to get back to his form of 2 years ago could argue maybe Leicester but the rest No
