sellyoakvilla
Is it not Non League Altrincham and not Alec Stock's Fulham? Altrincham is the one I've heard sung
rjw63
Is it not Non League Altrincham and not Alec Stock's Fulham? Altrincham is the one I've heard sung Yeah its probably Altrincham now - the song must origionally date from 1975 when Fulham beat small heath in the FA Cup semi :-)
tismyk
Is it not Non League Altrincham and not Alec Stock's Fulham? Altrincham is the one I've heard sung It was Alex Stocks Fulham origionally, but then got updated when non league Altrincham knocked them out . I prefer the original one as it was written my a mate of mine. The night fulham knocked them out was the semi final replay with fulham at maine road, we had just beaten Cardiff in the league at VP and going home in the car we listened to their match on the radio and when that last minute goal went it seemed that every car on the Bristol Road were honking thier horns and Villa scarves waving out of the windows
villadude
I want them to come back up for derby reasons, but equally want them to be gutted and miss out on it all. Not sure which way I'd decide if it was my call? Either way tho, it's ace seeing them so **** off at the moment.
tismyk
Refering back the last 46 pages you can see that they are champions of shooting thereselves in the foot, something my dad told me 50 years ago, and still true today.

rjw63
I want them to come back up for derby reasons I don't give a **** about "derby" games - it'd be much more fun if they lost to Reading next week, then fail in the play offs. Some **** words removed have STILL got ribbons on their car aeriels from the **** Leyland daf!!!! Be better for football in general and Villa fans in particular if Pornodwarf closed em down and built a Porn Supermarket

Couldn't care less about playing them - we're on a hiding to nothing whatever the score. beat them, and it's expected. Lose, and all hell breaks loose. Let them stay and rot in lower leagues where they belong, and watch the place implode when they f#ck up in the play offs.

TrentVilla Posted April 26, 2009 Moderator Share Posted April 26, 2009 Personally speaking I would happily go without the derby games each season and its nothing to do with a fear of losing or the thought of their bragging. I would just rather that they stayed where they belong and out of our sight for as long as possible because on the whole the games are an unpleasant experience which I could happily live without.
