Not picking on you Kingman, but I think it's sometimes the case that when we talk about "the club" taking tickets it can sound like it's a terrible injustice, that it's the big bad club stealing the opportunity from real fans. I don't think that's really the case and it's worth considering where those tickets go. The club have taken somewhere around 1,800 tickets by the look of things, maybe a couple of hundred more. Many of those will go to players - I've no problem with Guilbert's wife and brother being there, or half a dozen of the Smith clan making their way from Great Barr, I've no issue with tickets for the first team, or for that matter for first team staff - and indeed beyond that, I'd really like Mungo Bridge to be there, and I'd like Louie Barry there, I want them going home dreaming of being in the next one and working harder on it, It's likely that a number of the Women's team will be there for much the same reasons, I'd like the academy staff there, all of those associated with the teams and how they perform. I don't think we should estimate how many tickets that is - I'd be surprised if the tickets allocated for players and coaches and their families and their agents and don't number 500 or more. Of course, some of them go directly to our sponsors, to W888, Kappa, Eroro and so on - and I have no idea whether those people are fans of the team or not, it's likely that a good number of them aren't, that they are men in suits on a jolly - but that's the way the world is - I'd guess there are maybe twenty people from W888 going, and I know they're not season ticket holders, but we have to appreciate that they've put in £9m for those tickets - as much as two thirds of our season ticket holders combined - we need that money and although it's a sad indication of the way football is, I don't think you can blame the club for ensuring they get to go to the game. Then you've got former players - I'd imagine that if Gabby wants to go, he gets in touch with the club, as does Shaun Teale, or Ken McNaught or Marc Albrighton or Martin Laursen - I seem to remember Laursen attending the playoff final (might be my imagination) and there are players who have served the club and continue to serve the club with pride who deserve the opportunity to be there in its moments of glory I think. You've got staff, everyone from that steward that works home games and you see at away games but doesn't have a season ticket, to Brian Little and his family, to the Chef who's been cooking Jack's nuggets at the training ground and making sure John Terry doesn't run out of honey, the team that make the programme or run the website, the grounds staff, both at VP and at Bodymoor, the head of security, the head's of ticketing and marketing and maintenance and health and safety and all of those other functions which mean that they're at Villa Park every week. People who would be season ticket holders if they weren't at work. There will be a couple of hundred of those. Then you've got Lions Clubs and those people who actively support Villa every week but can't make it to the ground, the people that make sure that on any given match day if you find yourself in Dubai or in New York or in Dublin or in Cape Town there's a place for you to gather with other Villa fans and enjoy the game together - I don't think anyone would begrudge those people their once in a lifetime trip. Likewise, the people who arrange coaches from Dorset and Glasgow and London and all over the country each week, that dedicate time and money to making sure that groups of Villa fans who have found themselves scattered across the UK can still make it to Villa Park. There will be around 150 of those tickets included in there. You've got the Hospitality Box holders - they might not have a season ticket, but it might be because they're paying £10k a season for a box (I have no idea of how much it actually costs to have a box) - they go every week, but they're not listed in the 30,000 - I don't know how many of them there are, but I bet it adds up. You've got the prospective money, those people the club wants to keep happy because they could be on the front of next years shirts, there will be a handful of those being schmoozed at the ground. You'll have those people who have championed the foundation, the people that have put time and effort into making the lives of others better on behalf of the club and those disadvantaged who will benefit from it's largesse - those with Villa at heart who would otherwise never get to see a game. There are dozens of groups that will be looking to come through the clubs allocation of maybe a couple of thousand tickets as their route to this final and the number of tickets the club has to take shouldn't be underestimated - most go to real fans who don't fit in the usual groups or to players and staff that care - I doubt there are more than a hundred or so that go to truly neutral faceless executives or mates-of-a-bloke that works for Kappa - the vast majority will deserve their tickets and get behind the team as much as anyone does.

Might be a few sent back if they cant shift the allocation Manchester City?

Where have you got 4k from? 4k would mean the club taking enough tickets that they couldn't guarantee that every season ticket holder got one. We have 33.666 tickets and only around 1200ish left off a possible 30k eligible list. So technically we have sold 28.800 to season ticket holders, = The 3666 gone straight away + any left out that 1200 that have not purchased by ST Holders. imavillan
Well, its not looking like this will go on sale to members with 8 games or more next Tuesday. Almost sold out !!!!! terrytini
Can somebody who understands these things explain what is meant by “ Level 2 Seat Only “ ? Ive looked everywhere can’t find an explanation. Extra confusing when the Club says we’ve Level 1, and Level 5 ? For the Play Offs I was in 235 and it wasn’t described as anything different to anywhere else, this time I’m in 235 but the above description applies ? Talldarkandransome
Amazing really, MCFC can't give em away, on general sale with history and STH to buy another 2. Most of their STHs don't appear to even want one never mind two or three. Now they are even discounting them on hotuk. Massive club that

I remember reading something last week, possibly on a third party ticket site and it split the tickets between levels 1 - 5. Level 1 being super posh and level 5 being Harrow. OutByEaster? Posted February 14, 2020 Moderator Share Posted February 14, 2020 I think it's as simple as Level 1 being the lower tier and Level 5 being the Upper tier and the club initially getting confused and adding Level 3.

Level 2 runs right round, for example I’m behind the goal. Weirdly though compared to the Play Offs we’ve only had Half the Level 2’s.....the right as you look at the pitch, which is why the other side sold slower at Level 1 and 5, the atmosphere won’t be as good. The bit I was querying is why, on the Clubs site, it calls the Level 2 seats “ premium, seat only”. From what I know of Wembley I suspect it means they are what are usually Club Wembley seats, but that they are released as Seat only ? But I’m not sure. Tried calling the Club and Wembley no joy. As far as I know the Club have only ever referred to Levels 1 and 3. That’s all that’s ever appeared, and remains, on the Official Site. It then lists 5 Price categories. For Levels 1 and 5 only. But, on the associated map, it says “ Stadium Price List”, and lists the 5 Prices, plus two additional ones for Level 2, with the extra wording “ Premium - Seat Only”. To make me more puzzled, their latest announcement refers to how many Level 1 and Level 5 seats we’ve had allocated, without mentioning Level 2 ! Thats the bit I’m puzzled about. Although I’ve bought one, I’d still like to understand what’s what. As I say I suspect maybe they are separate to the “ allocation” ? Although they were available in the same way.
