One of my dreams in life is to find a Keenan in one of his fixture posts, respond with a GIF, and to get a like from the legend himself 🥰

Haven’t got bt sports anymore but why were inter and Ajax such strong favourites tonight?

Not sure but Inter are having a good season domestically and Ajax did reach the semi final last season after all.

Only clubs from the big 5 (England, Germany, Spain, Italy and France) go through to the Champions League knock out stages.

Remains to be seen if it's Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen who get the final spot in group D.

Boring but predictable, one for the game's gone thread perhaps.

"Best teams get through to next round".

I can't pretend the game is diminished by not having the champions of Greece or Ukraine in the knockout stages.

Good for you, the FIFA Super League will be right up your ally.

It's more that those are the only places where there is big money and even kids are vacuumed up to a few select clubs with filthy rich owners or huge debts.

Best teams always go through every year, that's not the issue.

What do you suggest as an alternative?

Not boring as last season we had two great semis but one team was Ajax who aren’t one of the big boys anymore.

Guess it is like a European super league now. But it’s still good to see a top English side play a top Spanish side on the later stages
