Wesley Moraes

Grealish is on £70k+ a week.

Wes can't play football. Yes, he will improve, but so would I training with Smith every day. He's starting from a disastrously low level.

The worst signing we've ever made and it's likely going to cost us our Premier League spot. We should be much higher in the table going into these crunch games. With any old average Joe we would have been halfway up the league.

Maybe slightly over the top, I am sure 22m pounds of our owners money, DS and The Brazil Manager beg to differ on your expert opinion :)

yes he has not been great, but jeez a little bit of realism please

Because he's on a pittance of what his earning potential really is, he's around by loyalty only right now and that won't pay the bills once he retires, he's got the wrong accent for punditry so unless he becomes a manager he's best banking some money whilst he can!

65 k is a " pittance".... Wtf? How many 24 year old players outside the top 4 - 6 are on that type of money? Far and away our best player, but he ain't no 120 - 150 k  per week player yet. That would just be stupid imo.

I'm inclined to agree.

However the one's that don't will be the one's crying when Grealish is off to Utd and we're watching Wesley struggling against Millwall. But, at least he'll be improving 🙂

What's funny?

For the money, he probably is.

Whats funny is that it is fiction.

Especially since it's based on 18 matches.

People should start putting "In my opinion" or probably, or do the research before saying things just for effect.

There are probably 100 worse signings we could think of, and it probably wasn't decided for them after 18 games either.

How many did Bosko Balaban score? Helenius?

Either way que the goalpost moving

How much did those two cost? Helenius in paticular?
The goalposts aren't moving. Well, they seem to be getting further away from Wesley every match.

I'm sure you aren't thick, so i'm not even going to get into the difference of costing, or inflation etc.

Those names were just thrown out there as examples.

Let's not try to squirm around what I was addressing and turn it into a debate about how shit Wesley is either as it's been done to the death.

Let's just focus on him being "The worst signing we've ever made".

As it is literally horseshit made up for effect.

The hyperbole takes away from any valid points alot of posters might actually have.

No it isn't.
He cost £22m. Inflation or not, he's been a tragic signing. Just because you don't agree with something, it doesn't make it horseshit.

The fee taken into consideration he may well be.

Helenius costed peanuts. Bowery too

How do you pay 22 mill for someone and they can't even control a football?

It's not about agreeing or disagreeing, it's not opinion either, it is actually NOT FACTUAL that he is the worst signing we have ever made.

And it's been 18 games, this is absolutely hilarious. 😂

Here we go again, with the hyperbole and absolutes.

You realise that if he has EVER controlled a ball in his life, or since he has been at Villa, this comment is also horseshit?

Of course it isn't factual, it's all down to opinion, you've just decided to call our opinions 'horse shit'.
And there is absolutely nothing hilarious about Wesley being in our side for the last 18 games.
