Israel is finding far right bedfellows - because Israel has a far right government who do far right things. No?

I think it's worse than that - the far right outside Israel are trying to exploit Jewish / Muslim differences in their own societies, and position themselves as "friends" of the Jewish community and opponents of Antisemitism for reasons that have little to do with Israel's own far-right politics, but everything to do with stoking up hatred in their own societies.

There's a reason why the far right identify so much with Israel. I implore you all to give this a chance and watch it. Whatever you think of Mohammed Hijab, Lowkey is one of the foremost experts on the links between the likes of Tommy Robinson, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson and Douglas Murray. He may be a rapper but he's an excellent investigative journalists around on this particular topic. Get through the Piers Morgan stuff and listen to the links.

I have never seen a "at least Hitler and the Nazis..." argument ever land.

That goes for both sides. ‘Israel is acting like nazis’ is a common argument heard around London every day. Usually espoused by young people with very little nuance to their stance other than what they’ve been fed by whoever.

This is the left’s answer to Joe Rogan. Nothing less. If you give a hate preacher like Hijab as much unopposed time as this you’re as dumb as Joe giving Jordan Peterson a whole episode to espouse his far right bs.

This isn’t what will bring this conflict to an end. It’ll be moderate people like Rabin and Arafat talking rather than preaching like Rogan or Lowkey, only working hard to sell crap to their echo-chamber audience.

’We don’t have a clear picture of what happened on October 7th.’ - lowkey

Really?

Everybody calls everything Nazi's nowadays, there's a term for this I can't remember. But this is different, it's a deliberate rhetorical argument that involves attributing some redeeming qualities to the real Nazis. It's a very strange line of thinking.

Hijab doesn't speak. Lowkey does. Listen to what he says about the various links.

They're saying it was a misfired missile again:

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel’s military said on Friday that a misfired projectile launched by militant groups in Gaza had hit Shifa Hospital earlier in the day, dismissing reports that the blast was caused by an Israeli air strike.

“An examination of IDF operational systems indicates that a misfired projectile launched by terrorist organizations inside the Gaza Strip hit the Shifa Hospital,” the military said in statement.

“The misfired projectile was aimed at IDF troops operating in the vicinity,” it added.
