He should just get his men pull out let putin get even more humiliated

It'll be him that takes the L on Bakmut. Putin can just blame him for not being able to take it as it was all Wagner troops there.

I often like to think about what a British Gas private army would look like

Why is he paying high wages and losing men ? If Putin wins the war, what will Wagner get out of it ?

Before the war, Wagner was Putin's private army, they'd go into countries as mercs and carry out Putin's will (see Sudan right now as a prime example). This gives Putin plausible deniability. In return Wagner get to rape the country involved for resources (see the diamond mines they run in Africa as an example of this)

Wagner isn't short of money, it's short of ammo and particularly artillery shells

Plunder. If you think Wagner are just doing the fighting without robbing everything they can get hold of you're mistaken.

They'll all be blamed. Anything to deflect. The reality is Wagner are the only Russian forces to really progress in the last 6 months, even if the progress has been poor. I don't think from Prighozins last rant he actually cares what the Russian generals or the Kremlin think. It's obvious there is no love lost whatsoever.

Hopefully the internal arguments and finger pointing continues to the point of no return.

It's an interesting question, the Russian military are bound to blame them for Bakhmut but whether Putin blames them is another question altogether before the full scale invasion of Ukraine, Prigozhin and Putin were close and its hard to fathom their current relationship

Wagner can't possibly be blamed for the direction of the entire war (with any seriousness)

Being reported more widely now

He looks such a nice bloke.

If you were a Hollywood casting director looking for an evil general, he'd probably get the job.

Its a high stakes game he's playing, threatening to collapse the front (because that will happen) to get more artillery shells

An interesting game of brinksmanship to see who caves in Wagner or the Military supply chain they are reliant on

There have been an increasing number of reports of Wagner / RUs Mil actually engaging with each other. There's no proof but those stories seem to come out all the time now.

He's a c***. But probably the only honest one around Putin. He may well be the only one willing to stand next to Putin when things eventually go tits up.

I agree. He's making it public on purpose and calling the general staff's bluff. Calling them fat lazy pigs might have been a tad too far though and hopefully Russian stubbornness prevents them from giving him anything.

You know..... I have a funny feeling Ukraine's counter offensive will begin on 9th May and Russian victory day. Don't know why but with Wagner on borrowed time, any ammo resupply is going to take at least a week or two if not much longer. Russians are cancelling parades all over the Country. It does feel like something is afoot.
