Yuen_Biao
'Dig, Lazarus, Dig' - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Was never much of a fan of Nick Cave as I thought he was a Tom Waits imitator, but I'm beginning to warm to the man's music. Quality album - Yuen Biao. If you like that i suggest you check out the Lyre of Orpheus/Abbotoir Blues double album and The Boatmans Call I'm currently listening to Dengue Fever - Tiger Phonecard .... absolutely quality and infectious - the album is spot on too a strange mix of US alt rock mixed in with Cambodian grooves Nice one will do! Currently listening to Kraftwerk - Neon Lights from 'The Man Machine' album. Just got into Kraftwerk and they are very influential to many bands, quite unbelievable really! leviramsey Posted March 17, 2008 VT Supporter Share Posted March 17, 2008 You know how when a song just entrances you and you play it endlessly for a couple of hours? Currently doing that with Jimmy Buffett's translation/cover of Kaasav's "Kole Sere": Love and Luck... Doing some quick research on the song, I discovered that Steve Winwood happened to be fishing off of Key West while Buffett was finishing up his studio down there... this song was the first track recorded at the studio with Winwood contributing the organ part.
