Transfer Speculation (Winter 2014)

A big money bid for Robert Snodgrass?? When has he ever been a big money player? I believe Norwich payed like 1.5mil for him and he's not done much in the premier league to warrant much more than that fee. We need to stay away from Norwich or else we will waste good money on mediocrity rather then small amounts.

Sherwood saying holtby might be allowed to leave. That's the kind of opportunity that pops up in January we should be jumping on.

I think he is going back to Germany isn't he?

Is he? That's a shame. Still you'd hope we'd at least try (not saying that we haven't)

Apparently been on Spanish radio that we are after

Raoul Loé of CA Osasuna again, Was meant to be on his way to West Ham!!

Defensive Midfielder, 24, 1 cap for Cameroon

Also long term target Dale Stephens is close to signing for Brighton

He def gets stuck in, something we need

We're currently on course for the same points total as last season, none of our summer signings are regular first team starters and we have a real lack of quality in the squad.

We've been told the books are balanced, ireland has been sold and we will receive a large payment in tv revenue at the end of the season.

I don't think its too much to think we'd aim a bit higher in our transfers. 'Patience' is the new word now then to defend our challenge to achieve mediocrity.

The two most expensive summer signings, making up over half the spend, are injured. So that'd explain the first part.

Take your logic elsewhere. It's not welcome!

Okore probably would be. So one of our summer signings probably would have been a regular first team starter. Dam that logic.

Loe and Hoolahan. Yes please.

An attacking midfielder, a defensive midfielder, a left back and a striker. Would be a good window IMO.

Raoul Loé is 192 cm and 84 kg. Thats what we need in midfield. Can he actually play? Is he any good?

Does it matter if he can play?

Hmmm hes okay that about it footballing wise.

as long as he can do the defensive work and give the ball to the midfield.
