The Note is 20mm taller and 17mm wider than the S2. Not a massive difference. If the Note did NFC I would buy one instead of the S3 thats how highly I rate it from the little time spent with it.

So we havent approached Lambert or Martinez but have approached OGS and Rafa, OGS has pulled out, and yet the rumour is that the board want Lambert. Surely if you have a no1 target you approach them to see if they are interested before discounting the also rans?

MY wifes Galaxy Note arrived yesterday and I have been setting it up. Fantastic Screen, the size you get used to really quickly which meant when I went back to my S2 it seemed tiny. I am due an upgrade next month and had pretty much decided on the S3 but the bigger screen of the Note has but a huge question mark over it.

I dont recall at anytime last friday thetrees saying OGS is going to be the new manager get your money on it. He did tell us that his jet was going close to where OGS lives and was returning. Everything was pure speculation.

McLeish was sacked on the Monday. We spoke to OGS on the Tuesday about the job, and then he came over on Friday. We also spoke to MM and the the bloke from Portugal We havent spoke to Lambert Have we spoke to Martinez? Have we spoke to AVB? Have we spoke to Grayson or Kmac. I doubt we would have spoken to DiMatteo before Saturday If we spoke to OGS on tuesday you would have thought that the club would have tried to speak to all likely candidates last week, certainly by this week. You would have hoped we had some kind of shortlist by now and an idea of whom we wanted as we have said that OGS was not the prime candidate. I get the feeling this one could come out of left field.

Villamatt on Twitter works for talkshite, I have asked him if he knows anything. Perhaps Villaonsea could let us know who he works with and I can ask if Matt has heard of him.

I have watched House since day one. Is had its highs and lows but I have to say this series has had some fantastic episodes. The last couple have been top draw. With only two episodes left it will be a big miss in the schedules.

I would be surprised if Liverpool were looking at either Lambert or Martinez for the job as surely their fans will want a much bigger name. I doubt King Kenny will have got the chop though, he will get another 12 months I would have thought.

Cannot see this being to discuss anything other than terminating his contract. It was a poor season but surely plans for next season would not need to be discussed the day after the season has ended. His out and his known for a while I suspect.

As above Guzan, Cuellar & Heskey have definitely gone. Makoun and Delph have hardly figured (have been out on loan) Petrov - sadly Thats 6 players who like last years bunch who havent figured that much in the starting eleven. Would be a stretch for 2 or 3 of the young kids to be let go and you aint that far of 10 are you.

Perhaps what he saw was that bad he is distancing himself as far from us as possible.

Perhaps we should put some thought into why on earth he would choose not to sack him. Cost of sacking would surely be less than the loss from season ticket sales etc. I dont buy the line that he was given a guarantee that he would not lose his job unless relegated. I am convinced that we will not be backing McLeish or any manager in the summer, we are looking to make further reductions in salaries and thus no other manager (in their opinion) would work within those restrictions where as McLeish has pretty much agreed to. Lerner will take this club back 30 years.........

I agree that to cut another 10 (well 7 if you take it that Guzan, Cuellar & Heskey are going) is madness. I am just passing on what I have been told. I wouldnt be surprised if Collins, Warnock, Ireland, Gabby and Bent all go in the summer, especially if McLeish is still here. Time will tell how accurate my source is

Paul Faulkner doesnt understand how to run a football club and its all about costs. Sadly there is only McLeish who would work under this remit
