  1. It is times like this that I'm **** glad I don't live in Birmingham anymore.
  2. Don't forget Champagne if we win. If we lose, drink it anyway. Tesco can probably drown sorrows for 1/2 price at the moment, get in there before the tax goes up
  3. Starting to get nervous now. Not long to go left at work, then heading down a pub with a couple of Villa lads in North London. The advantage being that I can actually wear my colours and not fear the wrath of insane 1970's knuckledraggers.
  4. What a stupid question. A bear doesn't have preference as to where it does it's business.
  5. Blimey, that RedCafe place is bonkers. Just clicked on another thread to be nosey, and there's 13 pages where the original question was why Irish people don't support Irish clubs and it's decended into infighting about "I'm more Manc than you" "Who cares if I'm from London?" blah blah. Ah, to have the luxury of supporting a club so large that it comes to handbags about who is the biggest fan.
  6. Absolute disaster for United, who no doubt will get the run of the green from the press who will label them heroes for their comeback that covers up the fact they are simply not title contenders at the moment. We really looked good, I'm chuffed for our young 'uns who put a great shift in. As previously said before the match, I always expect us to lose this one, so a point is a good result.
  7. United will do us. They always do (except the 'breaking of the curse' last season). I basically go in for a loss everytime because of terrible flukes and whatnots over the years. This way I can be quite content if we manage a draw
  8. Eeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyy. The Fonz is back. Hopefully.
  9. Here? Bah, should have noticed that. I'm sure I can come up with some recommendations
  10. This isn't in the right topic, but I don't know where else to post it. If the topic's title was "Don't recommend me a film", I'll go for the day after tomorrow which is on at the moment. A two hour advert for Rupert Murdoch. Painful.
  11. No. Not letting Nike take the piss out of us
  12. Off I go guys, Northern line to bank then district to Putney. Look forward to it, hope we actually turn up. UTV
  13. Give me a shout if anyone gets any further info on this. Currently I'm attempting to stream it through sopcast to my telly with a load of (probably) unimpressed mates as the connection goes down.
  14. My brother is a lucky bastard. Not only does he live in Lisbon, he gets Sport TV, and it's in English.
  15. ...or is it West Midlands Police? I had to listen on the radio to Gabby slotting in the 5th in 2008, and watching the game on MOTD didn't really do justice. Fair enough, if the old bill move the match to 12pm Sky can't show it, but the game at the Sty is at 12pm as well!! So we're not going to be able to watch EITHER derby game?
  16. I like the square motif on the new kits, although it's a shame that I was going to buy one but not with the Nike kerfuffle. Give me squares of claret and blue any day over Hummel's chevrons.
  17. As long as I can remember I've wanted to see an Addidas Villa shirt, just to see those claret and blue 3 stripes which I reckon would look great. Nike shirts were a welcome breath of fresh air from the bile being turned out by Diadora, Hummel etc. and as a traditionalist I have thoroughly enjoyed them. But, it's time to move on after the kit problems. Xtep anyone? Is that even spelt right?! Anyway, yeah, Addidas, Kappa or Puma will do me fine.
  18. I am sure I could have told them he is not worththe circa £26m it amounted to but if they don't want him I would welcome him back to villa park in a hurry We're not fickle, we just don't like the new breed of Man Citeh fan
  19. Just been on the Everton board to have a look at what they think. It's all a bit mysterious, smells of massive bet(s) being put on. SSN are now adding fuel to the fire. This could be over a meaningless handshake though!
  20. I'd take Houllier, no problem. Kev Mac has put a lot of time and effort into this club since 1993, and I think the longer he stays in the limelight (which he doesn't want) the bigger the chance of fans turning on him, which is a big shame. I for one am expecting a chorus of boos at the end of the Everton game. We need to sort this out ASAP.
  21. Agreed. well he'd be better than BOB.. Steve Bruce. Would actually be okay. But that reminds me of -ahem- certain victories in his career. No thanks.
