  1. Diadora were the worst kit suppliers ever. Can't you remember the 01/02 home kit when the kit was a horrible shade of purple instead of claret. That 01/02 home kit was the worst kit of all time, and not just because they got the colour wrong, it was also just a crap shirt with cheap material. The grey away kit that season was crap too. I like the chequered motif, I think it's not particularly chavvy. Diadora's kits WERE chavvy by a mile. The pink shit, the silver away with green sponsor on it.....AWFUL
  2. Didn't even spot the other poll when I created this thread...umm, there's now two threads on the same subject. Possible to merge?
  3. If the shirt supplier turns out to be Hummel again, and we have stupid chevrons all over the kit (apart from the 1989 one, that one I'll give you) then people won't be as interested, worldwide people(/fans/fickle people interested in all things "Premier League") won't look at it and think, "Hmm, I'll buy that", and thus the club's sales of replica kit won't generate as much revenue. Easy.
  4. Nothing like speaking for the masses! Thought I'd give it the big'un, but I clearly stand corrected!
  5. Man City's is Umbro I think. You guys really want Nike? Viewing the comments on here after the numerous delays beyond the club's control, it looked like half of the forum would have no problem in gathering together with spades and pikes and paying a personal visit to the Nike CEO's house
  6. Well, there isn't a Poll because I don't think I've got the access rights to do it. I think it's fair to say that most fans do not want Nike again after their calamity last summer. Can you give me a hand mods? 1. Le Coq Sportif 2. Addidas 3. Puma 4. Umbro 5. Kappa 6. Hummel 7. Reebok 8. XStep 9. Nike Personally I think Puma or Kappa should be strongest in the running (when did Puma's kits get sogood? , with Umbro bargepoled (subsidary of Nike) and Hummel should never make a Villa kit again. XStep is only in there for a cheap laugh. Please treat accordingly.
  7. I am staying in London after the England-France rugby game and it will be crawling with 'noses I live smack-bang in the middle of Arsenal territory. I'm sure I can find something in my wardrobe that's red and white
  8. not seen a peep out of all the supposed hammers fans buying tickets in the home end, but it's only a matter of time. Sure I saw a Villa-themed claret and blue "checkered" flag. Was definitely our colours, not hammers (lighter blue, darker? claret)
  9. I do like other football, just not Liverpool!
  10. A legend at his club. His club is Liverpool. I have absoluteley no interest in or discussing what Liverpool FC get up to, therefore I really don't care. Media circus is tiresome, but expected
  11. OH DEAR MCFC fans on here are right, this mug is getting a right verbal shoeing on the Bluemoon forum. I don't however like the fact that there's a topic on us booing Barry. I wish we wouldn't bother. Milner gets banner- hmm, pretty sure he's not put in 10 years of graft through awful times. We really do make a habit of booing would be/should be legends. See: Southgate, Yorke.
  12. When it comes to sorting things out I wish someone would just proper take charge. I would apply for setting up a supporters club and run it but I really don't have the time
  13. I think saying it's like their cup final makes us look like arrogant rocket polishers to be fair. It's a semi-final if anything for us, considering we're in a mess, **** the Blues game up, **** up in Europe and are on a right downer. Having said that, we scraped past them and have full bragging rights, so I guess we're "The Pride of the Midlands" again.
  14. Jesus wept, what planet is Ashley on? What a total, total shambles.
  15. As long as it's not Jol. If Jol held on at Ajax after we approached and told us to do one and then resigns and goes to Newcastle I will be proper steaming
  16. Not confident...I think Odemwingie and the yam yams will have a pleasant afternoon. Maybe our manager will go up to the away fans and applaud them afterwards.
  17. I'm trying and trying and it's getting so hard to believe the excuses. MON's squad, not Houllier's Injuries Luck - see Spurs game etc. Every has bad patches. But this one is really quite alarming. You might be ravaged by problems, but the drubbing by Newcastle and being played off the pitch by a Plop side that did not have the three players that "make" their team makes my nerves jingle. Half of the players don't look like they give a shit. At least at Christmas last year when I froze my bollocks off at Villa Park we totally outplayed Liverpool for 93 mins until they got lucky with how the ball fell to Torres. I don't see much to be positive about tonight, and I'm not even one of the stereotypical winging fans.
  18. 1) Why can't we take a throw in? Throw it to one of your players, pass it back 2) Why can't we pass a ball? 3) Why can't we defend against set pieces at all? 4) Why can't Stephen Ireland DO ANYTHING at the moment? Really, really wanting to give some leeway to Houllier, and have done since he took over. Patience is really, really running short. And I have a lot of patience.
  19. How either the England bid was deemed the worst and in such circumstances the Spain/Portugal bid didn't win is totally, totally mind boggling. Qatar? Football in the **** desert? Give me a break. This whole process smells of brown envolopes.
  20. It is times like this that I'm **** glad I don't live in Birmingham anymore.
  21. Don't forget Champagne if we win. If we lose, drink it anyway. Tesco can probably drown sorrows for 1/2 price at the moment, get in there before the tax goes up
