    Well, Mourinho wanted Deco and Carvalho last year. The DOF bought Sneijder and Lucio, and we all know how it ended. DOFs are more concentrated on other teams' players, especially for foreign teams. But if Manager (or Coach in this case, actually) and DOF don't share the same ideas, it's often useless.

    I was very impressed by his performance today. I personally didin't miss Petrov at all.

    Problem is that Ireland and Young play at their best in the same position: Behind the main striker. And Young is frankly better. I don't dislike Ireland, but it was not the player we needed to buy.

    Agreed, under Mancini they played very similar to City right now. When they needed a goal they told Ibra to get one, and he did whether it was a tap in or a 35 yarder. The guy was unstoppable. He probably won't be as effective at Milan but he has a big chance of being the Serie A top scorer again. Agree about Barca too, gave them a different option, but somewhat didn't suit their style. Needed time to integrate. Still scored 22 goals at Barça...

    You obviously don't know very much about him if you call him lazy... Watch some more Serie A. He is fighting like a gladiator with AC Milan, and threw up after a match for the effort.

    I don't trust Dunne... With him the mistake that could cost us a goal is always behind the corner. I think it should be Cuellar + Collins, and I would like to see Clark a bit more.

    In the whole, Petrov can give more to the team. However, when we are winning and the opposing team is putting us under pressure, especially in the last minutes, NRC is the right option. Put him in the last 20 minutes (when you are winning of course) so Petrov can rest a bit, and we have more muscles in the pitch. As simple as that.

    In my opinion AY7 is wasted as well on the right... And of the two, I'd pick the latter. It's ok though if they exchange positions during the match.
