  1. Wasn't impressed at all from his first game. Have been for every game after that though!
  2. Anyone who could make up a compilation off all the amazing saves he's made so far this year? I don't think he's been at fault of any of the goals we've conceeded this year either. If amazing saves were rated as high as scoring a goal, he'd have every MOTM vote at VT.

    Relegation

    He's been sacked ye.
  4. Hahaha. Sideways/Backwards passer who can't dribble for shit as he has the touch of a baby elephant at times. I love how he is become a revelation for some fans playing "better" than he has and we still lose. wow, just wow.
  5. Very impressed by his movement off the ball!
  6. Going to be intresting to see how he does playing in a forward midfielder role. Lets hope Con's been right all along
  7. Clark has made a good shout for the spot
  8. Did you really have to call my post bullshit(bs) first in order to share your opinion? I agree with you that Vlaar and Baker is the better pairing, no doubt. I rate Baker highly, higher then Clark. But they're two diffrent types of players. The new and old breed of defenders if you'd like. The what you call "learning from his mistakes bs" is something I firmly believe in though. If you expect a player to learn from his mistake after comitting it only once you're ignorant(just as you might call me ignorant for not accepting that some players won't learn). It takes time(yes, I know we don't have time). It's trial and error, over and over again. Learning from one mistake doesn't mean you'll sort out any types of mistakes from your game either. Making a mistake in defence is very costly, and a lot more noticable. I've seen far more experienced and better players then Ciaran Clarck do similar types of mistakes(or worse) before. I think he'll become a good modern day defender in a year or two.
  9. I also think mental strength is something Lambert is doing well with. The shit he has to put right! He's got a philosophy and he's sticking with it. Going with the youth, he's stood by that. There's nothing wrong with his mental strength. You say such needless, sad sad things. We were good tonight. Stop being a dick. Support the team. Clearly not. There's sticking to your guns and then there's just being stubborn. Lambert appears to be the latter. Sorry if I don't buy into this cult of personality. Support the team? Since when is criticising Lambert not supporting the team? Jesus **** Christ it's **** pathetic that anyone criticisng St Paul is automatically being accused of "not supporting the team". Here you go. You wondered what sticks I was talking about. You've made a straw man out of them. Are you going to respond to my point or are you just going to be patronising? Not sure what point you're referring to, or where I've been patronising. How's your cat by the way? You know, the one 'Lamebert' ran over. Well you've just been patronising yet again. Oh I've never had a cat. How bad are those dodgy pictures? You know, the one's Lambert's blackmailing you with. See, I can play this game too. This is like watching Mantis vs Morpheus/Bigjohn/Packbuddies 5 months ago. Except that Matnis is Morpheus, and darrenm and praisedmambo are Mantis. Twilight Zone.
  10. I just hope he'll stay injury free thruout the season, we're going to need him.
  11. He turned, He slipped, He fell. He's young, he'll learn by this and improve as a player. Ufortantly we can't afford this kinds of mistakes. Fair subject to critique, but some of the comments posted on here are pathethic.
  12. I don't see a big club being in for him yet. If we go down he'll go to a top half club, but not a top 4. If we stay up and he preforms at the same level or higher next season, he'll be off to a big club in England, Spain, Italy or Germany(IMO). Great player, great future. Really hope we'll have him with us a season or two more.
  13. yes I thought it was bollocks at the time, and still do Perhaps because 2-0 is a far more comfortable lead? Or maybe they knew N'Zogbia was low on confidence having not scored for a while, whereas Benteke is always scoring? This and the fact that theres not a lot of Villa palyers around when the penalty is taken. Bent, Dawkins and Vlaar runs up to him. While quite a lot the the team are in and around the penalty box area when the freekick gets taken.
  14. Glad that he's starting to step up. Thought he'd need a decent run in our side, which he's never really gotten due to two major injuries and some small ones all too frequently. His injury proness worries me, if he manages to stay injury free I think he could become a very decent player for us come next year regardless of us going down or not.
  15. Only watched the last 15 minutes. Brad **** guzan MOTM for me!
  16. Hows the defensive stats of our midfielders?

Just signed up, how does one join a game?
  19. Playing with a deep 4-2-3-1. Central defenders on defending duty. An anchorman and defensive midfielder in front of them. Tried both a rigid system and a very rigid system. Yet my central defenders keep pulling out to close down a player all ready being closed down by wingbacks or defensive midfielders. I've instructed them to stand off more as well. I use closing down in opposition instruction on 1-3 players, I know they override the instructions all ready given but surly both of my central defenders shouldn't leave their position to close down a player all ready being closed down by my wingback or defensive midfielders?
  20. I'm leeching goals, got 3-4 of my players closing the same player happening over and over again. Never had this problem in any other fm version the fm 2013. tried pretty much everything to avoid without any luck. Anyone got any ideas?
  21. I'm confused, I was of the impression that you Mantis were one of Lamberts most prolific advocates. If you've changed your mind, rightly so. Maybe I've misunderstood the endless discussions you've had with Big John, Morpheus and Packbuddies. Sadly they've been spot on for the past 6 months or so, well called. Just a shame they called it right. I still have faith in Lambert, for no obvious reason. Wasn't overly excited with the appointment, but I hope we stick with him regardless if we go down.
