Get rid of RMC on loan at the very least. Toxic to the club, we need everyone pulling in the same direction for the remainder of the season. Two up front if Bruce needs it but we can revert to one up front if an injury happens. Never thought I would say it but Gabby playing off Kodjia wouldn't be the end of the world if it is needed (Also what I think we will see tonight)

Buzzing for today, it's nice to actually be excited for a transfer deadline day for a change. Along with a chance to see some of our new signings in action tonight. Let's leave the Benteke links out today though, as much as we all want him back we know it's not happening! Hogan will do nicely!

Can you honestly say there was a buzz when we signed Benteke? And look how that one turned out... You say we can do better but we are a Championship team sitting in 13th place in the table, signing a Premiership striker with a great scoring record in the Championship. Not really sure how much better we could do here?!

I think if we can sell him, then great get rid of him as we've had enough 'problem players' over the last few years. If we are unable to offload him and Ross shows a willingness to get himself fit and fight for his place (like Gabby has done), then with the new players around him he could be what we need beside Kodjia. If he doesn't want to fight for his place then I agree, let him stay at home and we will look to offload him in the Summer.

Realistically we should be looking to offload Richards, Westwood, McCormack, Kozak Gollini & Cissokho are on loan, we can sell them come the summer Gabby as we all know won't be leaving Villa of his own accord, Bruce seem's to like him and we are short of strikers... Hutton, Elphick, Gardner, Jedinak, Bacuna are all fine as cover for the first team this season Amavi?! Come off it Ayew can go if we need the money for a replacement, but otherwise we might as well keep hold of him and see how he gets on with a better team around him

Whilst I won't be complaining with Rhodes as I think a striker is needed this window, I don't think he is worth the price tag and I also don't think he will be a long term investment should be go up (I know this is looking increasingly unlikely this season) I'm hoping for a striker from abroad to come in from nowhere, a bit like the Bjarnason deal...

I think the guy is more of a center midfielder than a left winger A midfield three of Lansbury Hourihane and Bjarnason would be great! Whilst Jedinak is solid in games where the opposition lump a long ball, in games where the ball is on the floor he is too often outpaced and outplayed. This signing will give us the option to adjust our formation where necessary.

Is Bjarnason not classed as a center midfielder? Personally would go with the below: Johnstone Bree - Chester - Baker - Amavi Lansbury - Hourihane - Bjarnason Adomah - Kodjia - Green Subs: Bunn, Elphick, Hutton, Bacuna, Tshibola, Grealish, Ayew

Feel sorry for him? He's getting paid 40 grand a week to be not as good as he wants to be... I'm not as good a footballer as I want to be, but I don't get paid for it!

I think the playoffs are gone, 10 points doesn't sound like much but there are 7 clubs above us who will all need to drop points whilst we pick up 3 points each week. We have seen in previous weeks how one win doesn't move us anywhere in the table, and with our away form we won't have the momentum to string wins together back to back. Obviously I won't be complaining if we go on to win every game left this season, but unfortunately that is the type of form we will need to move ourselves into the playoff positions now.

Looking through the website at squad numbers taken I have realised that: 1) Our club website has somehow gotten worse than last season 2) Our squad numbers are horrific I'm going with 5 or 15, not that I care either

I think Lansbury has been fully fit for a couple of weeks now but hasn't played due to the transfer speculation. Should be fine to play tomorrow.
