I would rather see us signing some wingers over a striker, this is the area that we are poorest in. Adomah and Green are both decent options but Adomah goes missing too often and Green is still a prospect with a poor injury record. Even bringing one decent winger who can play both left and right as a back up for Adomah & Green would make the world of difference. For me once the GK & CB positions are secured we need to be looking for 1 more CM (possibly Ledley as a backup for Jedinak) and then bringing in 1-2 quality wingers to rival Adomah & Green

I've actually heard/read a fair bit about Terry and one thing that is mentioned a lot is how good he is with the youth players at Chelsea and in keeping in contact with the players out on loan. I think it's a fair assumption that with him at Villa we would have a better chance of loaning some of Chelsea's decent youth prospects.

Ledley is average prem quality. We can't sign high prem quality at the moment as we are sat in the Championship. We need to be realistic with our signings and not keep thinking of ourselves as above everyone in this league, as we found out last season we aren't...

I think they will release a new badge once promotion is sorted and then update VP, Bodymoor and the merchandise as one. I believe Tony Xia mentioned a new badge would be on the agenda in the next few seasons. Lets just hope that this time Xia and his board remain in place or else we will have 3 badges floating around...

July the 1st on Saturday Following Terry on Instagram and he flew out on another holiday yesterday (hard life eh), so I wouldn't expect much this week. Would expect an announcement next Monday on all fronts.

Bacuna is a utility player, as a squad player and not a starter he isn't worth getting rid of. Granted he's not the best but he will put a shift in for you which is why he made as many starts as he did last season. For me as a backup CM I would rather have Bacuna on the bench than Gardner. Plus in the case of an injury crisis as we experienced briefly last season you have a player on the bench who can cover RB, RM & CM to a decent level.

If there was a chance of having Fabian Delph back at Villa we would be taking him regardless of the way he left. He would comfortably be the best midfielder at the club and would more than improve our chance of promotion. He has the drive that we have missed over the last 2 seasons. That being said there is no chance he is going to be dropping a division to sign for us. Neither is Ashley Young...

What is everyone's views on a survey before moving into a house? Buying a house (first time buyer) which I will be renovating, structurally sound just needs updating/modernizing. The mortgage lender will obviously perform a survey, but would it be best to have another survey done independently? My thought's are the less I spend now the more I will have to get started with...

I reckon we will be home first game of the season, down to the fact the baggies are at home on August 12th... Tough fixture at home first game (Boro, Sunderland, Hull) or take an easier one? Personally wouldn't mind taking on one of the better teams early on...

All dependent on the contracts we offer them, one or two year deals for these players would suit us as they will do a job for us and then not sit on the wage bill as per Gabby, Richards etc. Colback is a very good player and of the mould that we have missed in recent years...

Flint and Roberts are both good defenders but they haven't made the step up to the Premiership in their careers, most likely due to them not being good enough. If we are to gain promotion this season we would likely have to replace them... Meaning we are signing them for 1 season... I would much rather sign John Terry for 1 season, a proven quality Premiership player. We have talked about having a team full of losers; we now have the chance of bringing in a winner, someone who is used to winning and has a mentality that this club has missed. His personal life has nothing to do with his footballing ability, and on a saturday afternoon that's all I care about

Looks like an upgraded Adama Traore, more skillful but just as selfish. Saying that I would rather take a gamble on a player like this than bring back Ashley Young for 100k a week.

Yeh might have jumped the gun on my conclusion... I saw a video of him training on his Instagram page. Boxing training and looked fairly comfortable on his feet, I would imagine he won't be far away in 2 months time.
