The strange thing is neither of our teams are looking likely to get dragged into the messy part of the relegation battle. Both our teams seem to pick up points regularly. Now Norwich have a 30 yr old player that doesn't fit in the managers plans. Most clubs would be happy to sell and let their manager use the fee and free wages on someone they want, instead Norwich are more concerned about Lambert. Its kinda sad

Man City are a marketing machine. They know that new football fans flock to winners and they are shameless in targeting them.

I think Palace will be fine. Pulis knows how to get his team points. There is a reason Stoke never really worried about relegation under him. Swans are playing really bad at the moment but looking at their injury list its easy to see why. Provided their players start coming back within the next month they'll start picking up points again and should be okay. At the moment I'd say West Ham, Cardiff and Fulham are in big trouble.

Johnson against Shaw has been a great battle. Shaw really is a good defender, easy to see why so many top teams are tracking him.

Just finished my first season. Pretty happy with it. Finished 9th and won the league cup. Been using a flat 4-5-1 being defensive against better teams or standard for more even matches. I've found that the flat formation makes you much harder to break down and tends to lead to more consistent results. Lost Benteke in January for 30mil and only had loans in so I have a lot of work to do this coming window. I'm hoping to sell Nzog, Bent, Tonev, El Amdi, Bennett. I'll need to buy 2 Lw, Rw, Rb, Defensive mid, Advance playmaker and an Lb. I figure loans are going to be important again but with Spurs, Chelsea and City not making UCL there should be some good players available.

This is a strange one. Norwich have a player on the wrong side of 30 who doesn't fit in with the current managers plan yet seem to not want to sell him purely because its Villa. Having this drag on isn't going to help the Norwich squad either. Seems like they are willing to shoot themselves in the foot purely out of spite.

Vlaar being back is huge for us. Feeling a lot more optimistic about this game now.

How this guy has played so many minutes for us is a mystery. Hasn't looked close to getting a goal or assist.

I feel the criticism he is getting is a bit over the top. He is clearly out of form but how can a striker thrive in a team that has 30% possession. Most of the game he is just chasing defenders. Last season he played his best when we were actually playing good football and had Sylla and Lowton on the right with him who both were passing and moving and creating space for each other.

I don't understand why Lambert is persisting with this kick and rush. We have looked so much better this season when we actually try to play football and mix it up with some counter attacking football.
