Really surprised Herd is starting. Its a very strange decision.

Fergie had plenty of time to address this lack of depth in midfield himself, but he didn't. Yes, Moyes arguably could have done more to provide backup and competition for Carrick, but it's an accusation that could have been levelled at Fergie himself a season ago as well - the difference of course was that Carrick did not get injured last season, and United romped their way to the title. While I agree Man utd clearly have problems with their midfield its weird to say that Fergie didn't address it. He bought Kagawa last season who didn't work out (or was injured I cannot remember) and knew how to use Jones, Carrick, Cleverly and Scholes to keep things working. Moyes would have known from day 1 the midfield needed to be sorted out as Scholes wasn't going to come out of retirement for him and for some reason he thought spending a fortune on Fellani would be answer which seemed always doomed to fail.

I'd 'rest' him against Soton. I dont buy this not interested thing that people are mentioning. He hasn't been playing well since coming back from the injury which seems to indicate that he hasn't recovered fully, It's up to the coaching staff to get him back to 100% and if that means resting him a week or two so be it.

I don't think I've ever seen Benteke lose this many headers. And against O'shea and Brown of all defenders.

Delph has been unusually invisible this game. Don't think he's as fit as fit as we'd want him to be.

Really need some changes to inject some life into our team.

I'd like to see Lowton on, he gives us so much more going forward on the right and links so well with Weinman.

The lack of Bowery on the bench concerns me. Who are we going to bring on to close out the game.

For England I think the most important thing is getting a couple of players in some form. This game can't be saved but a hundred for one of the batsmen would give them some much needed confidence going into the next game.

I think you could argue he's better at his accuracy when he does get his head to the ball. However, Benteke is far more effective because he's so much better at winning the ball. I'd agree with this, Benteke is exceptional at actually getting his head to the ball and winning headers but once he gets there his actual accuracy and control could definitely improve. On the other hand we have Kozac who needs to improve at actually getting his head to the ball but when he does is very good at generating power and controlling the header.

Brilliant Free kick. I'd like to see him in the midfield with Delph and Westwood. He defends really well at RB but with Lowton we have more width to out play.

His decision making is just so bad. I don't think I've found a player this frustrating to watch in a long time.

Its no wonder Mourinho is undefeated at the bridge. People used to complain about Fergie and the refs but Chelsea at home are even more ridiculous.
