I only think about this dude when his thread gets bumped. Just let him fade to page 5 like other ex players. Don't need him or want him in this current squad. -
Fully agree on the multi-week game plan. Goto the Bournemouth recap thread and numerous posters were complaining about the early Konsa sub or just playing Diego at all. It's standard practice in American Football that coaches keep parts of their playbook secret til the playoffs or big regular season games. Amazing to see a football coach apply the same type of tactic. Unai is truly one of a kind.

Honestly, I think that's exactly why Watkins didn't really complain afterwards. Bailey is currently in that rare sort of form where you just get out of the way and watch him win the match single handedly. Couldn't have happened at a better time. Here comes arsenal with both first choice FBs injured.

I'm still wondering why Pep thought he could get away with playing an 18 year old and 2 CBs in a double pivot for his midfield. Did he not know he was going up against, imo, the best PL midfield duo in Kamara and Luiz. Also, it's not like he was forced to play that group. He had Kovacic and Nunes, combined transfer fee £90 million just sitting on his bench. But of hubris by ol Pep there. Yes we played extremely well but Pep's team selection played right into our hands. I'm guessing on the reverse fixture we won't be as lucky.

Leon is a better man than me. I would have walked right into that trap, looked into the camera and declared the title race all but over. Leon is right we should stay humble. Until we tonk arsenal in a couple days. Then f*ck that humble stuff .

Why would we want Jack back here on crazy wages. Imagine Watkins, Douglas, and Martinez seeing Jack walk into Bodymoor all pulling in a far higher wage than them. They show loyalty to the club and that's their reward. So nope, can't see it at all. Jack made his bed when he signed that massive City deal. It's the Saudi's or bust for him. -

I feel kinda bad because he makes the amazing look routine. So when he pulls of something crazy I don't even understand how great of a save it was til the replay. He's amazing.

Fully agree. If he wins the ball it's not even a foul. He doesn't and is late so it's a yellow. End of.

Never a pen but 45 minutes of last ditch defending in your own box in the age of VAR is just asking for some kind of foul/handball to eventually be rewarded.

Yeah this is where I'm at. Except for the best teams, the rest would exclusively be in a low block every game. It would send the PL back to the 00s with everyone playing 4-5-1 and parking the bus for a 1-0. Just install the semi automated offsides and be done with it.

After the Grealish transfer these rumors no longer bother me in the slightest. If we sell it will be for a crazy valuation that we will use to push on. Unai has his entire scouting team working to find new players that will either fix our current holes in the squad or replace potential sells. If Tottenham can sell modric, Bale, and Walker while still pushing on to CL qualifications then I have absolute faith that Unai and his team will figure it out as well.

You look at the spine of our team and it's absolutely top 4 worthy. After that you just need a couple things to break your way. What a season this has been so far.

Only against Burnley has Cash at RW worked. Don't even blame him was lost up top. Honestly part of me thinks that was Unai's plan all along. Have Matty run around getting stuck in then 2nd half bring on Bailey to run at tired legs.
