Proud of Matty. Their whole game plan was to isolate McNeil against Cash. He nullified attack after attack down his side all 1st half. Great performance.

Don't how many have gone through a wholesale culture change at work. I am coming out the other end of one and it's been a tedious 2+ years to get here. You have bring in new individuals, retrain everyone from the old regime all while maintaining some level of acceptable production. Performance will drop. Their really isn't a way around it. You can't focus on retraining and day to day performance. The human body isn't a machine. People will need to have patience. We are still probably a full season away before we start seeing the wholesale mentality change we all want.

Desperately need Konsa to be first choice from the bench. He plays it far to safe and gets caught in terrible positions because of his hesitancy. He's not a bad defender by any means but I think he's an easy upgrade once Carlos returns.

Seriously. I'm going to be late to work because I had to watch it to the very end. Each game is thrilling. I will never take that for granted after being bored to tears by Bruce and Steven.

Went toe to toe with the league leaders. Had 2 clear cut chances to go up 3-2 and didn't get either. That's really all you can ask for against a team like arsenal. We had a chance, just didn't take it.

Main reason why I don't mind Emi's antics. Nothing like having a confident keeper in goal. Lifts the entire back line.

Please stop mentioning Pickford. He's like a T-Rex come to life and his play out the back would also be a downgrade.

Bertie is by far the best dribbler in the side. Who cares if he doesn't use his right. He still beats his man, circles backs and beats him again then just for funsies does a rabona with his left when the right would have worked just to piss you off.

Kamara signed with that imposter as our manager over the summer. Don't think that will be a concern. Unai has actually succeeded at the highest levels of club football. Questioning his ability to attract players is a bit laughable.

Seriously if someone is willing to take his wages then you have to let him leave. Nothing against Phil but he is making far to much for the contribution he can deliver in Unai system. The sooner he is gone the better.

Fellas, the manager we all love has stated that Ollie is our starting #9 for the rest of this season. So my advice relax and enjoy the sweet embrace of Ollie running the opposing back line ragged, scuffing an easy chance but in the end popping up with a much needed goal every other match. UTV!

Just saw Lloris latest flap. It's one thing to struggle to score but to have a keepet letting in a softie every other match is just a killer. You know 10 years ago Tottenham would have been lobbing some disrespectful bid in for Emi1. Now we have the financial security to tell them to pack sand even if they offer market rate.

Time wasting is more than just wasting time. It's about giving your field players a breather. It's about not letting the attacking team have any momentum. It's about letting all 10 field players reset their defensive shape. All keepers are taught to take the air out of the ball when nursing a lead. Emi is just a master at it and long may it continue.

His ball out of the back to Kamara for the 1st goal was pure magic. How did he even see him?

Just want to echo this statement. He closed down the far post on the assumption a PL keeper wouldn't get beat near post. Also, he is in the box. If he had attempted to close down at full speed he probably clatters into the man giving away another penalty.

Is this proper finisher also running the channels like Ollie, chasing lost causes, holding up the ball effectively and unselfishly sharing the ball for better scoring chances for his teammates. Don't think it's that simple of replacing Ollie with a proper finisher. Same reason why Ings is the far better finisher but is starting most games on the bench in our current setup.

Had some immaculate touches in the 2nd half after his goal. A confidence player who needs building up after Steven buried him on the bench for his pet project. Let him make that left wing position his in Emreys 442. I think we have so much more to see from him.

If Hutton is a Villa legend for his career revival in the championship then Young had to be right there with him. This second go around us absolutely magical. He answers the bell wherever he is played. One more year!!!
