  1. They say a team reflects its manager…….they got that right. Whatever success England have enjoyed, is despite Southgate, not because of him. The guys about as inspiring as a wet turd.
  2. What happened on 7th October was not a “military operation”. It was a massacre.
  3. I don’t think the Israelis are naive enough to think they’ll eradicate every Hamas gunman. What I think they’ll settle for, is destroying the infrastructure that enables Hamas to operate from a tunnel network that took years to construct. Expect a new barrier to be constructed after this is over, that will be infinitely more sophisticated than what was there on 10th of October. They may also retain a heavily armed presence in Gaza. Either way, the limited autonomy the Palestinians enjoyed prior to this conflict, is likely to be even more limited after.
  4. A ceasefire is not indefinite, that would be an armistice. A humanitarian pause can be any length the combatants can agree on.
  5. The only Party Bojo will join, is one with party poppers and plenty of food and booze.
  6. Like all “systems” teams will study it, and find ways to counter it. Once it’s found to be a liability, top coaches will move on and adapt. We’ve got a top coach, someone I’ve got faith in.
  7. He’s going to pass an emergency law, to enable them to ignore…..the law. Party of law and order my arse. If they get away with this, no laws are safe. We’re becoming a banana republic under this lot.
  8. Where does it state that the attackers have to be a state.Thousands of murderous terrorists intent on mass slaughter, would I think be regarded as something the Israelis would have a right to defend themselves from.
  9. He’s a moderator. He certainly can tell you what not to do……..on this site
  10. Then why are Hamas gunmen exchanging gunfire there.
  11. You could argue that Jeremy Corbyn tried that, and here we are with a Tory Government. If you actually look at the policies that Corbyn championed, they’re pretty in line with what people are calling for now. Better public services, more workers rights etc. I voted for him in the Labour leadership election. My heart ruled my head on that one. The thing is, politics, sadly, is a cynical game. We’d all like to do what we think needs doing. But unless you actually win, you can’t do a damn thing. For what it’s worth, while I’m well to the left of Starmer, I think he’s playing the political game pretty well at the moment. If Labour win, Then the real arguments for meaningful change can begin, from a position of power.
  12. Doubt the Red Wall voters are going to have Gaza very high on their list of priorities when they cast their votes.
  13. So now we have a Minister for common sense . Reminds me of the Monty Python Minister for funny walks. You couldn’t make this shit up.
  14. No, 3 other teams will be shit enough to keep them up………maybe.
  15. She’s probably sat at home with a tub of popcorn, enjoying every minute of watching the filth her dog whistle brought out from under their stones.
  16. I marched with the miners. Went with a coach party from Land Rover. One of the moments in my life where I felt it was the right thing to do.
  17. Bravermans rhetoric has consequences. She’s either too stupid to realise it, or this is exactly what she wanted. I’ll go for the latter.
  18. I’m always nauseated when the Right wing thugs wrap themselves in flags and spout shit about how patriotic they are. They espouse non of the ideals we fought that war for. I lost a couple of family members in the last war. They gave their lives fighting against exactly the kind of Nationalist crap these morons spew out.
  19. There is something vaguely absurd about people wishing to ban a March calling for a ceasefire. aka, an armistice, on armistice day.I just hope there isn’t any trouble. It would only give ammunition to those who think Cruella is right.
