  1. Well for my sins I like country music, and as such most of its offshoots including a nice bit of southern rock, drive by truckers are fine exponents of the latter. Great band.
  2. I wanted to see drive by truckers, it wasnt to be unfortunately.
  3. So I saw Jim Jones Revue on Friday and the band were as ever, excellent. This was my first time at the o2 Academy since it moved from The Hummingbird (ask your dad) it was in the the academy 2, and it has to be said thats probably the worst venue I have ever been to in over 25 years of gigging. narrow, poor sound, toilets located to the right of the stage, a tiny bar staffed by 3 people to serve 600 people. Dreadful. I think it would have to be a pretty exceptional gig to get me back there, we usually see bands in manchester and it was only due to other plans that stopped us seeing JJR in the north on this tour. Next up for me is The Delta Bombers, a **** blinding rockabilly act from Las Vegas. We are seeing them in Bristol.

I despise the bin dippers, and their bitterness after ever game makes me despise them a little more.
  5. may incur the wrath here a little. "holte enders in the skoi" Which if based on ghost riders in the sky, bears zero relation to the actual tune, it bugs me a little in all fairness.
  6. Greece, going to singlehandedly try to bail them out purely via wine consumption.
  7. got jim jones revue coming up in october, then in december we have the delta bombers in bristol, then a day or two after that neds/frank and walters/cud at wolves.

if my daughter started a relationship with a teacher at 15, and I caught a whiff of it, the **** would have his bollocks ripped off. not by me, I am a puny bastard, but by non existent group of thugs that I would recruit.
  9. I think for all the stick he had, deservedly, he always showed huge restraint. I wish him well.
  10. this, they forget where they were 5 years ago, 4 years ago even. The shit weasel.
  11. weirdly this is one of my favourite chants. Then I always laugh when wolves take the piss out of us with Veeeeeeeellaaaaaa
  12. The thing yesterday was we looked so much bloody better, regardless of the manager, the team looked so much better.
  13. My only fear with Clark is that he gets booked far too much, no denying his quality but he has more cards than a hispanic porn slapper in vegas.
  14. Brad is Dead, Long live Brad. Excellent performance yesterday.
  15. Everyone that I know that have met him, supporters, say he is a fantastic individual, really top bloke. Average footballer, but top bloke.
  16. For those of us that may have missed some of these, can people link to posts or examples. Cheers.
  17. If only there was a thread where people could post on pitch **** ups from 12/13?

Absolutely, it will be laughs a plenty.
  19. I guess people are a little afraid to pipe up now for fear of being tarred with some name or abuse, but the report has changed some of my view, but not all of it, the facts remain that when those gates opened, it wasnt coppers, it wasnt the media, it wasnt journalists, it was liverpool fc supporters that flooded in.
  20. did they or didnt they? because people disagree, we miss the point or ill informed.
  21. so liverpool fans waited patiently outside the gate then bickster?
  22. Justice? But in what form? if liverpool supporters are found to be at fault would they no longer want justice? What form of justice are they looking at?
  23. Traditionally its a half time orange but these are enlightened times.
  24. Next up is Jim Jones Revue, will be the third time of seeing them in the last 12 months, no live act better.
