    I think I’m slightly more shocked at Konsa starting to be honest but let’s see… hopefully we get the Coutinho from the Leeds game today. I do think Buendia was a better option for today to help with counter pressing.

    Not exactly the most reliable source, but Villamole seems to think we had positive talks with Kamara's agent at the Belfry a few weeks back? Apparently is being sold on our project as well. If true that's very promising...

    Definitely, my problem is outside of the top strikers in the world, It's hard to find a decent striker without much risk. Jonathan David/Osimhen are a bit risky due to them playing outside the prem(It's not that much of a factor for me personally) and the latter is going to cost A LOT. I'm not even that convinced by Osimhen if I'm totally honest I think he's alright but a bit overhyped. Nunez is likely to go to Utd, Jesus is probably off to Arsenal and Adeyemi is off to Dortmund. I'm sure there's strikers out there, that's what scouting is for but I just think the position in general is not what it used to be.

    I'm really happy we got the fee down to 17 mill, can you imagine doing this deal during the Lerner years?

    I think 60 mill+ then I'd be tempted, but I wouldn't want us to sell him yet. I think he still has a lot to offer even though he can be frustrating at times, he's definitely one of the players I'd look to keep.

    Thing is Man Utd have been a bit of a mess for the last 5 years, they have made the wrong signings for a while now so they are not exactly the best example, they'll likely spend the money on Philips. I just think we are in a position where we can land a very good player for free, these are the opportunities the club have said they want to take advantage of for a while now.

    Apparently a tier 1 source as well? (Don’t know myself). But blimey what a bargain that is. If we can some how bag Kamara as well we are going to have a decent amount to use for other signings.

    I’m not too sure, but I’ve said it’s slightly misleading this rebuild talk. It’s going to likely be players that we have out on loan that aren’t going to play for us, plus a few that aren’t going to feature like Traore. I think the remainder of our current squad will be either squad players or sold/loaned out. I’m sure some of this has been relayed to the players as well.

    I wonder what happens with Targett if Newcastle sign Bakker. It seems like there’s more reports of Newcastle being unsure about signing Targett.

    Ginter signing with Freiburg the team that he originally came through the ranks with. Oh well I didn’t think this had legs, especially with a few German teams in the fold.

    I don’t get why him working closer with Lange and co is a bad thing? It’s not like we are going to bin our recruitment team and have Gerrard as the only one with a say. Also we’ve heard since the end of Jan that we are going to go through a rebuild, I think that is true for the most part but it’s unlikely we are going to bin 7-11 starters/first team players. We have a few out on loan that need to come off the books, plus some in our squad that need to play elsewhere. The rest are going to either be squad players instead or they will still be starters. I highly doubt it’ll be a FIFA/Football Manager style overhaul.
