Didn't Marsielle fans burn their training facility when they sold Sanson to us? lol Lord knows what they are going to do now. My french mates said that Marsielle fans are like the Millwall fans of French football.

I’ve said how I feel about him a few months back, but it is what it is. Like I said I had to back Terry when we signed him and he’s no different. It’ll take me time to come around to it at first. Not disputing his playing quality though.

With the 5 sub rule happening next season, how many more signings do you think we’ll make?

Oh definitely, I forgot to add that part. The contract length and how much he''ll get will change my opinion potentially. I get it's a free transfer and all, but Ideally we want most of our players on deals which we can shift easily if they don't pan out or want to leave. I'm tired of our deadwood going out on loan instead of permanent transfers.

Not a glamorous name compared to other CB's we've been linked with, but I think Tarkowski is underrated. I'd welcome him at Villa definitely, isn't he also a bit of a d*ck when he's playing? If he is I like it, having a player that can get under players/fans skin is brilliant in my opinion. Our players sometimes get a bit rattled at times when we played Palace (Zaha) and City (Rodri) at times when they either do tactical fouls or constantly in our players ears. It would be nice to have a few at Villa that did the same

When we were linked with Coutinho I said no way you're having a laugh and then he signed. When we were linked with Digne I said surely not? and then he signed. When we were linked with Bouba I said we don't have champions league football so no way, he signed today. Nothing is off the table for me at this point with this club, next thing you know we'll probably have Lewandowski rock up within the next few weeks lol.

The Nakamba sub cost us, but I understood why he thought to do it. It’s not really a good idea to sit back against City… Watkins not finishing his dinner didn’t help(I feel like I’m repeating myself with our strikers) Some of the comments though are a bit OTT, I’m sure a lot of you were silent when we were 2-0 up. Anyway we finally got our DM early so here’s hoping to a great summer.

The target should be a top half finish. Especially if we sign a commanding DM and a CB. The pressure is higher in my opinion, so we have to get things right this summer.

I hope he can land a managers job for a clubs first team. He was apart of the furniture pretty much, it’s sad to see him go. I would be curious if he was 'pushed' out or if he thinks he’s ready for the next stage of his managerial career.

I don’t know if you saw the thread, but he did say 'we' when discussing improving. Also wanting to give more to us fans, which he’s not wrong we do deserve more to be honest. It’s been a disappointing season.
