  1. He said it exactly after Ward Prowse signed a new contract at Southampton. My speculation is that he might have been on his way to Roma as the rumours suggested if we'd signed JWP, and when that fell through he was told he'd be staying. It was a weird comment he made at the time.
  2. I see comments like this every now and again and I don't get it. She's nothing but a horror. She can barely keep her head held together. She actually comes across at times as if she's a monster wearing a human face mask. And she's a terrible human. She's about as monstrous as it gets. I get it in the most perfect of photos she looks OK, but in movement and from a step back it is a facade that disappears quickly!
  3. Unless they're wingers we buy! (Yes, I'm very unconvinced by our summer window)
  4. I imagine his brother isn't from Birmingham and might be open to a move to Rome or somewhere paid for by his brother!
  5. That's not a complete picture. There's a reason why he gets criticism, and it's because more often than not he's completely ineffective. Still, he gets a new start under Gerrard.
  6. Confirmation bias! (Just joking)
  7. **** them all, seriously. But this isn't new. Anyone who believed in these chalatans—well, it doesn't look good.
  8. Or he was just injured and now he's back.
  9. I thought one or two were better than most of the films. The Doctor Strange one was great. I was dubious about watching them, but for me they were surprisingly worthwhile.
  10. It's funny because he has a Liverpool accent.
  11. I both randomly had it in my coins from a while back and then fomoed in on it yesterday with more. I need to learn to be a bit more patient.
  12. I watched it last night, and I'd say it was a bit brutal for a five year old! Maybe that's just me, but that was a really murdery Bond film, a far cry from old school Bond. Not the topic, but I thought it was very very average.
  13. That's what my mum and step dad both say they did. It seems to me that someone who's bought into the Tory narrative hook and line won't ever vote Labour, but they are for some mystical reason OK with voting green. It's almost as if they have no clue what they're doing.
  14. It's a good story, but I don't think there's any comparison to running a football team.
  15. It's a glitch. We're all in a computer program.
  16. He's done half of it. He's definitely done well with that half though. From the reviews and so on I half imagined he had done the whole book, so I was surprised it was just part 1/2.
  17. Of the brexiters I know not a single one of them voted for this reason. Your statement is a massive stretch. Most people didn't know what they were voting for anyway.
  18. They'll go for a big name surely.
  19. He's a great defender and we should definitely sign him.
  20. Five years ago we were a mess that almost went into administration in the Championship, propped up by loans from Premier League teams, and they were an actual, functional Premier League team. Our spend includes about £65 million on the loan players, or replacing the loan players, from our promotion season. They've built from a much more solid place (they were a good Championship team for a while) and have been able to build sensibly. We had a few years of bored or mad-charlatan owners almost crippling us, and had to spend a little quicker all at once. Both teams appear to have invested solidly over the last period, but most comparisons work in Smith's favour if you consider the context.
