That team but swap out DL for Nakamba, liking DL off the bench recently. This one is winnable and we are due a result on the road.

I reckon if any of those teams that have played 25 games and are on 31 points or more win there next game they will be safe from relegation and it will then come down to any teams on 31 or below after 26 games.

Jack may have to go at some point to allow us to invest, we can't just spend because we have rich owners it all has to be done within the restraints of our revenue and FFP. We simply don't have and never will have revenue streams like some of the big clubs.

I think we'd be in a fairly strong position should it happen, we would have a strong core to the team. Of the players I really want here next season I could only see Jack and Mings leaving I think SJM would stay. A starting 11 something along these lines would more than cope with the Championship. Heaton/Steer Engels Konsa Hause Guilbert Nakamba Luiz Hourihane Trez Samagoal AEG I don't think we'd need to spend to much either to get a bit of strength in depth, I'd go in for Eze and Manning from QPR and see what decent Championship defenders are available.

I didn't say the hype was suggesting he was the next Rooney or Owen I said they were not held back because of there age which is what should happen with Barry if he is good enough, Barca don't acquire players from English Championship sides if they don't have something about them. Lets just see what happens.

Why wouldnt he jump ahead if he's good enough? Not saying he is, but if he is really as good as the hype why not. Were Rooney and Owen held back to develop? All hyperthetical players develop at different rates.

In the ideal world Jack stays and the board invests another 100mil (because that's at least what we need to spend for us to progress) and we are playing in Europe in the 22/23 season. I'd like to think the board does have a plan but I think to many fans are a little deluded if they think it's going to be instant gratification. Jack's has 5 years on Haaland there is no comparison between the two, Jack is a great player Haaland is phenomenal!! I know he's a Villa fan but Jack's ambitious and I wouldn't begrudge him a move he's the sort of talent that should be playing at a big club playing in the champions league he deserves to be there. Besides If we are following the so called Dortmund model isn't selling Jack exactly what we should be doing and reinvesting? That last paragraph, everyone has there price and after the season he's having I think they will be lining up for him come the summer. I truly hope he stays at Villa for his whole career, but I just can't see it I just don't think we will be able to offer him what he wants for a few years yet. Again just my opinion.
