Sorry mate love a good conspiracy theory but I just think he's not as good as he's made out to be, have a feeling you will never see him in a Man City shirt ever, will end up somewhere like Celta Vigo or Real Betis.

Should we stay up I feel we still need some quantity, just based on the team that started Saturday we need to have 6 of that starting line up as squad players not starting! We need a much better summer recruitment.

We might not get relegated if teams are shitter than us! It is pretty damning stats though! Despite the absolute lack of quality we signed last summer you can't look at a single player and say they have been coached into a better player.

No one would come in for our summer signings because they are championship level signings simple as, we could offer PL football and recruited poorly last summer. We'd be mad to spend big a again if we got relegated.

I really can see your point, as a kid I would start watching TV from about 10am on FA cup day it was fantastic. Leicester proved it can be done though we have to keep the faith, with FFP it's even more prevalent we need the right staff recruiting and developing players and if we need to sell JG to fund recruitment so be it, but to get the TV money we desperately need to stay in the PL!

Winning the cup and getting relegated would be disastrous! Getting relegated itself would set us back 2 years throw in European football **** me it's laughable!

I think once the owners get the right manager/head coach, back room staff and DOF the climb up the table will happen no one gets things right from the off. Trips to old boys have no appeal whatsoever for me I'm afraid.

Each to there own PL survival over a carabo cup win all day long for me. The league cup lost it's gloss many many years ago. Unfortunately the FA cup seems to be going the same way, big clubs only have there eye on one cup competition these days and it's neither of the domestic ones.

I would struggle to trust our current DOF and head coach to spend that sort of money wisely based on last summer's business.

This game has this written all over it, most we can hope for is if citeh get a couple early yellows. A couple of goals for De Bruyne definately on the cards.

I wouldn't PL survival is everything much rather lose the cup and stay up 100%, going down would set us back 2 years! Imagine Europa league football on top of a busy championship schedule.

I don't think McGinn will make a blind bit of difference not like we were putting together back to back wins when he was in the team. I think our season will depend on what those 3 teams below us do we really need Watford and WHU to be shitter than us if we are to have a chance!

There will definately be a scenario A list and a scenario B list draw up and sitting on a desk somewhere! As the season goes on scenario B is getting ever closer I think.

Aston Villa manager Dean Smith said that some of his players had "played their way out" of next Sunday's Carabao Cup final after defeat at Southampton. Suppose we'll see how big a pair old Deano has got on Sunday, I think AEG will be dropped if fit again after his broken eye lashes, be interesting to see who else he deems as played their way out of the cup final.

I just can't see where the wins are going to come from and Watford have quite a few winnable home games which could be our undoing! West Ham have arguably a tougher run in than us though which is a blessing, can't rely on this team to get out of trouble really need Watford and WHU to be even shitter than us! This season has been awful when you look back at the basics we have got wrong since day one we are still doing them wrong, only the coaching staff to blame for that if it's happening consistently with no improvement.

He means they put the effort in during training to get selected but don't replicate that on the pitch.

No point in sacking him now our season is pretty much out of our hands anyway it's a case of hoping Watford and West Ham lose more than we lose because apart from the Palace game I can't see where another win is coming from! I had said keep DS if we go down but have changed my mind on that he needs to go in the summer because even if he was to bring us straight back up we'd be here again in 2 years time having the same conversations, I just don't think he will ever cut it as a PL manager he hasn't got the tactical nous to be successful. Dreading the cup final now!
