I know where you are coming from but psychologically a win would be massive. Someone posted yesterday that anyone from 11th down is in the relegation mix I think that is garbage no one outside the bottom six will get relegated we need a win and other results to go our way.

I think you are way off the mark there i'd hazard a guess this guy was not even on the long list at the start of the window, he's come in simply because no one is available at a price we can afford it's highly likely he will never make the bench if Samagoal and Davis stay fit, purely a if it all goes pear shaped through injuries signings. That said if he impresses DS in training you never know but I feel barring injury we won't even see him play. (watch him be on the bench today!!)

Pretty uninspiring very much another 'one eye on the Championship type' signing which is sensible in our position. Beggars can't be choosers and all that. Surely signed in case it all goes pear shaped with injuries.

But the the current formation in 3 central defenders, two defensive midfielders flanked by two wing backs and a forward three. SJM is not a defensive player so where does he get back into the team?

As good as SJM is I can't find a role for him in a 3-4-3?

If he's good enough he's old enough. Imagine VP on a Saturday afternoon bringing on a 16 year old Villa fan as there main striker!!

Yes fully aware thanks, and those 6 years is probably what it will take for us to get back into the top half of this league if we manage to do it right.

Sorry that doesn't make sense? We weren't following this model the season we were relegated , we were on the tail end of the MON pay them what they want so we get the Champions league era paying over inflated wages to over rated players.

Nah still all up in the air. Did read DS will do a reveal all on Saturday on who we were in for though, that would be very interesting to hear.
