  1. That was saucy. Especially his goal - everything about it was exactly the sort of thing I want to see us do. What is it the kids say? Inject it in my veins
  2. The difference is Grealish is often crowded out and doubled up on, and the majority of his short passes are the probing, risky type that leads to a tap-in for Ollie. Those are in dangerous, congested areas and are more likely to be cut out, but also cause havoc for the opposition. Context is key here. FWIW I like McGinn, he's been brilliant for us. Given his journey with us if he's already hit his ceiling then he's done fantastically well. He will always be remembered fondly of he was to leave. I still think he can do a job, though. Whenever he's had time to rest up he's come back looking like a world beater at times; he would benefit from some healthy competition.
  3. To be fair, it's about time our songs got inventive.
  4. This sort of talk will win you no friends here pal
  5. Yes, but it was hardly a clear goalscoring opportunity. No, not even remotely. Even worse, this went to VAR and they still sent him off. Also, is Doug really slow or it's that striker really fast? Baffling series of events all round.
  6. I'm pretty confident our first choice defence doesn't concede either goal tbh.

I don't understand finances on this scale. I just see big numbers and panic.

£170m in losses over the last two seasons... We're going to have to reconcile that somehow. I don't expect much more activity in this window.
  9. Totally different. Jack is still here, it actually makes sense for us to talk about him. Bellingham is a great player and he will be excellent for years to come. None of it will ever benefit SHA though.
  10. I've seen that claimed a lot. I'd scoff at it, but seeing as he's our player now I almost hope it's true. Can you imagine? We'll be unstoppable.
  11. The best thing to do imo is to get a Chromecast of some kind, then get the game on your phone and cast it to the TV. Worked like a charm for me.
  12. I knew there was something wholesome about him.
  13. I like the way he sometimes passes into space rather than to a player if there's nothing on. I don't recall seeing anyone else do that so often.
  14. It's funny you'd say that right before this link came about.
  15. Buendia is class, pure and simple. Nice to see Ollie getting goals early. Nakamba ate his Weetabix this morning. Is it just the quality of the opposition or does he look much better on the ball? Chuk looks tidy, although his decision making could use some work. He'll benefit from a run of games Pleased with what I've seen so far.
  16. Absolute baller. I'd be amazed if this comes off, but I really hope it does. Also, his son is called Leo Cristiano. No pressure.
  17. I love the fact they actually wrote that down. If it were any other club I'd assume it was a joke, but SHA itself is already a joke so it's hard to tell.
  18. They have. Man U said they wanted him for preseason before sending him there though, although I can't imagine who that helps.
  19. I'm no expert on F1, but I fail to see what was wrong with what Lewis did. Aren't you supposed to try and overtake in a race? If not on a corner like that, then where??
  20. Watched about 20 minutes of their game against Kings Lynn just to see Rashica in action. His first touch is awful. I think that goal he scored against Bayern that had us salivating was a fluke. He looks decent on the ball to his credit and he was finding space easily enough, but Buendia is definitely the superior player, that's for sure.
  21. I work with a Man u fan who religiously buys the home and away kits every single year. He said he's not bothering this time. I don't blame him.
