  1. what would the odds have been on Sheff Wed, Blackburn, Plymouth and SHA ALL winning on the final day. madness.
  2. im pretty sure what i said was right, not exactly sure on the figures, but im sure i have read it a few times and in reputable places. I agree the 14m buy back thing sounds nuts and i cant believe we would have agreed to it. The 10m sale, plus 8m if they stay up, or an 8m buy back with us making a 2m profit on it, and the profit is effectively a loan fee from them, makes much more sense. Obviously, i could be wrong. either way, i can see him being shipped out on loan again in the summer, or sold (again).
  3. its only radical because he is nowhere near good enough to be part of a squad hopefully aiming for top 4/top 6.
  4. i thought we sold him for 10m, rising to 18m if they stayed up, but with a mandatory buy back of 8m/10m if they got relegated? so like a 2m loan if they got relegated? (if it was an 8m buy back).
  5. Flange calling for new players and the jettisoning of a few. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cqenqzvd29mo Postecoglou wants 'change' in Spurs squad
  6. i think thats the thing, neither Luiz or McGinn are DMs, and it shows, especially when they both play as a pair in midfield. The DM position is a real issue at mo i think, especially as we dont have Tielemans, and although it isnt his ideal position either, he seems to do it better than Luiz and McGinn.
  7. i would risk him (if he is fit). I cant abide the thought of Olsen again.
  8. i have just seen Grealish's new project. In the new Helmans Mayonnaise advert. The new face of Helmans Mayonnaise. seriously. wtf. Helmans Mayonnaise? seriously? for real?
  9. yeah, he isnt good enough, plain and simple tbh.
  10. yes. he was also at Sheff Utd in the Champ, he didnt even start for them, if you read when we were rumoured to sign him, the fans on the forum were shocked that we were after him and laughing to the bank (wages saving/loan fee saving etc)

    Matty Cash

he isnt that good going forward tbh, he isnt technical, he's very rushed in what he does and always looks like a rabbit in the headlights to me. Im not saying he is a bad player, he's a good player, but if we want to go to the next level/sustain the level we are at, he needs serious competition for that RB spot. i think we need both a LB and a RB in the summer. Cash can compete with the new RB, but we defo need one.
  12. In addition to the below, we also currently have a +8 goal difference to Spurs (+21 vs +13), so assuming we keep the positive GD, you can basically add 1 point on to our total, as Spurs would effectively need a point more than us to finish above us.

    Unai Emery

tbh it just shows how far we have come, so fast, but also how far we have to go. Emery has wrung the neck out of this team and had them performing above their level, i guess at times, like other times in the season, their limitations show, especially with all the injuries, players not playing in their ideal positions etc. Its a miracle what Emery has done here, and im honestly surprised the team has sustained the level of performance they have for the last 18 months. Will be interesting to see who Emery brings in, in the summer, to strengthen.
  14. his contract is until 2025 isnt it?
  15. so, points and goal difference in our favour. Looks like Spurs need to win 3 out of their next 4, and we dont win any of our last 3.

    Matty Cash

he cant, he always struggles with it.
  17. our defensive line (inc the DM), needs a lot of work in the summer window.
  18. tbh it is pretty comedic, a neutral watching this must think its a clown show and is feeling entertained.
